  • Sync not working

Is anyone else's sync not working, today I'm planning to put it on my laptop and it is of particular interest to me this very day, thanks, tim (says "not working, try again later" like it did during a weekend a few months ago - remember)

Thanks Rosie, I rebooted my computer then it told me automatically that it was downloading 43mb which took a minute then staged up from 1 to 3 and now it is indexing, or at least calculating the time. Oy, I had a feeling, but sometimes just don't know how to pull the trigger. Hopefully it's over. (ouch 9 hour down time) thanks and God bless you all

  • Re: How long is long enough?

Hey Pam, That is what makes this different, there is no % this time when I hover over icon, but it just says downloading, so that is what makes me think that I'm not doing something right, or perhaps my computer? Things just don't smell right, but I'm waiting :)

Ok, so just hang in there; I'm bad at not having everything done before I can do something else. Back to the books :)

  • Re: How long is long enough?

This is an update, but it never takes this long, I just want to know if this is normal for this update, as I know it is large, or do I need to start over, before my time gets used up. Thanks

  • How long is long enough?

Preparing your library...This may take a while... Ok, 3 hours and counting (this is new with my desktop experience) Icon tells me "downloading updates" I'm trying to hang in there, but one question before tomorrow comes along... Is this normal for this update, or is something wrong? (I'm up to spec on everything) Thanks

  • Re: Check out the new Fortress Paul Pre-Pub

Rosie, I agree with what you say about NT Wright. I was excited to see him at a ETS meeting and was treated like a heretic for liking what he said. There is no harm in adding something to a debate to make us thinkers and not just agree-ers. Tim

  • Re: L4 won't start

Rosie, Control key won't change anything. Thanks for that suggestion it might come in handy down the road. Dave, I'll be an L3 user for some time till I have time for reinstall. Tech said it would be later next week before they can discuss this with programmers. Can't say I'm not frustrated. Need to concentrate on Easter now, blessed in Christ <><

  • Re: L4 won't start

Richard, Thanks, I didn't stop indexing manually, I paused it after it continually failed in some sort of looping error. I didn't import any highlighting, just what came with any automatic downloading updates. My tech did mention highlighting, but wasn't sure how it applied to the problem. That was yesterday morning. Thanks again, Tim

Dan, I listened to Carson's lectures through Revelation on the internet, he said he didn't want to tell anyone, but I think he is in line with what Ted said, Peace

  • Re: Keep Getting An Error Message About Indexing

Hey Larry, I'll join you in that my indexing starts every time and then "Logos 4 Indexer has stopped working" sign comes up. But I updated something yesterday and don't exactly know why or what it was then the indexer started. I've been through that before but I've never had a problem. This doesn't seem to want to stop. • Re: Things that slow me down?

Thanks Kevin, But can you clear all your highlights in one book with a single action. Erase just does one at a time. And wouldn't toggle just hide it instead of giving you space on your computer. Sorry if i'm being ignorant. thanks tim

  • Re: Things that slow me down?

Thanks Dan, I was thinking it was like a Dock, like on my HP so that they would open with a single click, so they must be using some of my computer. I was getting a little cluttered and I was thinking that would hurt my performance. tim

  • Things that slow me down?

Hi, I've been thinking about this for a while: 1. Does having a multitude of short cuts on the short cut bar slow you down (L4 system) 2. Does having a multitude of layouts slow down your system 3. Does having highlights in multitudes of books slow you down Thinking of this from the fastest computer to the weakest? Thank you, tim
