  • Re: Running the Android App on Blackberry Z10

Good news, everyone! I'm now running Logos (Android version Build 195) on my Blackberry Z10. Just earlier this morning, there was an update to the Z10 OS, bringing the OS version to 10.2.1.537. One of the many nice features of this update is the ability to install Android apps directly from my Z10, without the messy side-loading, etc. So after the OS

  • Re: Changing the default font in a note

Yes, that would be fine. Actually, this is even better, because if I do change to some other font, I'd likely stick with that for the next pile of notes I create. Thanks, Drew.

  • Re: Changing the default font in a note

Thanks, Kevin. Can't wait for this feature to be implemented. I want all my notes to be in Sans Serif, so right now I have to make this tedious change with every note I create.

  • Changing the default font in a note

I tried searching this in the Android forum, but wasn't able to find anything. When I create a note, the default font is always 12pt Serif. Actually, it shows 12pt Default, which comes out to be Serif. Inside the note, I can change the font to Sans Serif, and that's fine as long as I'm in the same note. But when I create a new note somewhere else, it

  • Re: can I install logos 5 in another operation system in the same computer?

Yes, Logos 5 works great on Windows 8 and 8.1. I've been running it on Windows 8 since the OS was released. In fact, I've not had any problems with any of the applications I use when I switched from Windows 7 to Windows 8.

  • Re: Smooth Scrolling

I tried it just now; works great! For most situations, I just flip back and forth the old way. But once in a while, I need to line up the text to show more text on the page, and this feature now makes this possible.

  • Re: Custom reading plan (both verses and dates)

Thanks. I tried that just now, and it works fairly well. Though it doesn't have the "check-off" feature like in a real reading plan. One question about Lectionary: I used the dtext tag to show my Bible verses, but I don't get any of the notes. E.g., I'm using the NET Bible, which has tons of notes. But in my Lectionary, I get just the verses (either

  • Can't select text from from within footnotes

While reading a resource, either a book or bible, I noticed that it's not possible to select text from footnotes. E.g., I'm reading the NET bible, and I see a term in one if the footnotes that appear at the bottom of the screen. I tried selecting the term, but it won't select. Is there any way to enable selection in footnotes?

  • Re: No longer able to use the multiple windows feature on the Samsung Note

Yes, I've discovered that as well. At first, I thought the multi-windows feature for Logos was removed. Then I saw the multi-window icon on the Home page, and discovered that the icon is only available from the Home page. Thus if I'm reading a book or bible, there's no way to shrink the Logos window without going back to the home page. This multi-window

  • Re: Logos on Galaxy Tab 3

I've been using Logos on a Galaxy Note 10.1, with a stylus (the Note is similar to Tab 3, but with stylus support). It works great, and I definitely prefer it over the iPad. Actually, for most everything I do, the Note 10.1 is way better than the iPad. I'm able to have my library with me, and download only the books I read while not at my laptop. The

  • Custom reading plan (both verses and dates)

Is it possible to create a custom reading plan where we can specify not just which book/chapter/verses to read, but also on which day they should be read. E.g., today is 22 Nov, I want to have my reading plan specify: Jeremiah 40, Jeremiah 41, Psalms 38, Ephesians 5 Then for 23 Nov, it'll be another set of books/chapters/verses: Jeremiah 42, Jeremiah

  • Re: Android Suite 2.6.6 Stable Release

Thanks, Kevin. I did as you said, and removed all NET Bible Reading Plans, then installed Build 132 (2.6.6). I'm happy to report that it no longer crashes! Who'd guess that a problem with Reading Plans can cause the app to fail. Thanks again for the quick reply and solution.

  • Re: Android Suite 2.6.6 Stable Release

Thanks for the update. Since Build 131, I've had the problem of Logos crashing whenever I tried to open any resource (Bible, Book, whatever). It installs fine, and loads fine. But as soon as I select a Bible, it'll open to where I left off last time, then the screen will dim and after a few seconds, it'll pop up a message "Unfortunately, Bible has stopped
