• BUG locative He in the morph search appears

    1. Make morph search for any pronoun, hit enter. 2. Now click on the search line again to make some adjustment, immediately the He locative is selected without doing anything and you have to deselect it manually. This is clearly a bug.

  • Search makes me crazy

I don't understand how this works or doesn't work. 1. In 2 Kings 17:15 I highlight the the word עֵֽדְוֺתָ֔יו go to the context menu, choose "selection", choose the search for: lemma:עֵדוּת@NCFPC BEFORE 4 CHARS lemma:הוּא@RS3MS 2. I get 20 hits in 10 verses. 3. I delete manually the part of the search "lemma:הוּא" from the search line and hit enter for

  • Some tagging mistakes

    If you make a Bible search with: <Sense angel> AND NOT <Person Angel of the Lord> there some tagging mistakes Gen. 24:7 ה֗וּא יִשְׁלַ֤ח מַלְאָכוֹ֙ לְפָנֶ֔יךָ should be tagged as "Angel of the Lord" because it's his Angel.

The Hebrew font of the LHB overlaps in the concordance.

  • Re: Corresponding words in the LHB broken?

It's true but the Lammed of לכרמו is a preposition and should not be tagged as a root also the pronoun suffix should not be tagged as a root or at least not be part of "same root" but of "same lemma".

Mhh, so there is no way yet to find roots. I will add it to the wish list. Thanks

  • Re: Find Hebrew root and Greek root?

Thanks Graham, I will put it into Logos 9 wish list. If a direct root to root search were possible we would have a much better overview. If I take your search and search for the root αρχω, I get already 9 subordinate Lemmas with 219 results. I think it's a great help to search root to root.

  • Re: Find Hebrew root and Greek root?

Hi Dave, I am not looking for Greek roots, I am looking for a search summary, like: the Hebrew root פלט matches 3 Greek roots: 1,2,3… and 20 Lemmas: 1,2,3… Is such a search possible?

  • Corresponding words in the LHB broken?

Hi, when I select "Corresponding words" and than "same lemma" and hover over in Isa 5:1 לכרמו, Logos selects also לעשות, לבער and other words. Is this intended?

  • Find Hebrew root and Greek root?

Hi, I want to find the different Greek roots for the root פלט. I search for "<Root = lbs/he/פלט>" in the LXX Swete but I get only Greek Lemmas not roots. In the Analysis I can see the column "root" but this column is a combination of Hebrew and Greek. I remember in BibleWorks it was possible to find the frequency how a Hebrew root is translated

  • Re: Search senses and semantic roles not in clause search
Incidentally, the clause search you ran against the Bible with 71 results doesn't seem to have any results relating to conflict between the Israelites and Egyptians so it is possibly not what you are looking for.
This is correct since I don't know how to search for it. This is part of my question in point nr. 2.

  • Re: Search senses and semantic roles not in clause search

I think this is not correct since the search "<Sense conflict (clash)>" gives me 71 in the AT, so this sense must be part of it. I tried it also with the NT the clause search doesn't know the sense " conflict (clash) ".

  • Search senses and semantic roles not in clause search

Hi, I want to find all conflicts between Egyptians and Israelites. Going to "Sense Lexicon" I found the sense "conflict (clash)". For some reason this sense is not available in the clause search. If I type "sense:conflict" in the clause search I can see only "sense:strife (conflict)" but this is not what I am looking for. So back to the "sense Lexicon
