No, there is no one-step repository to tell if a book is available in Logos format.
Thanks, Tom. You're the only one who seems to have understood my question.
Evidence of Christianity ... is not available on Logos' website. Due to forum rules, I don't think I can post the website.
Ooops. Sorry, Ron. I just re-read your reply and realized that you've already given one example of a book that exists in Logos format, cannot be found on the Logos website, but is available elsewhere

  • Re: Every Single Logos Book?

Thanks Don & Ron. Actually, I've already spent quite a lot of time searching many different websites and have already more or less come to the conclusion that Evidence is not available in Logos format. I also already have the other two of McDowell's books that Ron mentioned. What I really meant to ask was, can one come to that same conclusion (more

  • Every Single Logos Book?

Short question : Is every single book that presently exists in Logos format (either L3 or L4) listed on the Logos Website? Long version : When I'm looking to purchase a particular book in Logos format, the first place I go to is the Logos Website and search for it by title (eg. "Evidence That Demands A Verdict" by Josh McDowell). Suppose it does not
Why do you want to do this? The point of collections is for restricting searching or creating resource associations. Thanks again, Rosie. I actually understood you the first time. But, just for the fun of it, let me illustrate how time-demanding this process will be, using your example of the All English Bibles. Here's what I did: 1) type:bible lang:en yields 26 books in my library 2) Select all 26 books and tag them with L3BSL (yes, you can do group-tagging in 4

Thanks, Rosie. (Fastest-fingers reply again!) Yes, I guess that's how I'd go about setting up the collections, but ...
Yes, you'll need to tag every book.
That's really just too time-consuming. Even though I could tag multiple books at once, I'd still have to pick the books out from the list one by one. I was hoping

Here's another challenge for the great minds behind it: I want to create separate collections for all the books from my original L3 Bible Study Library base package the new books added when I crossgraded to L4 Bible

Just checked out the link and found that this error has not only already been identified, but also fixed by Logos. It's the last item on the page. Learnt something new today. Thanks, Rosie.

Thanks for the interest, and for the beginnings of what appears to be insight into the theology of "reading in tongues". But seriously, can users amend metadata? Or is that something only Logos can do?

  • "Good Things Come In Small Groups" by Steve Barker --- Afrikaans?

Hmmm ... When I sort my library by language, this book comes out as Afrikaans. Is that correct?

+1 Yes, I would love that too. But if I understand it correctly, we're not even able to get bibliography info in L4 (neither Windows nor Mac) at the moment. It'll be great if that feature, when made available for Windows and Mac, be also made available on iPhone.

  • Suggested Feature: Highlight New Books Added

You know how Windows (since XP, I think) will highlight the new applications that you have installed in your Start Menu, until you've at least used that application once? Could we have something like that with new books added to our Libronix Library? The highlights can be in the Bibliography or "My Library" or both, and can remain until we open that

Hmmm ... I wasn't really intending this as a feature suggestion. I thought that maybe someone knew but I didn't know, whether it was an existing feature I was unaware of or a workaround method, that someone could show me how to do it. Apparently, nobody does. So thanks, Rosie and Bill, for the suggestion to put it up as a suggestion for L4. I'll do

  • Collapse Multiple Bibliography Entries, Possible?

In the absence of hard-copy books, I track my Libronix library by using Library Management > Bibliography to generate a list / catalog of all my Libronix books. It's a great tool! As I have the Discipleship Journal, Issues 1-150, this catalog repetatively lists every single one of them individually, with no additional info other than the difference
