• Re: Logos 4 Mac on OS X 10.4 (Tiger), Anybody?
It works as an upgrade for all previous versions of OSX (well at least 10.4)
Great! Thanks for the tip.

REALLY ???? Wow! This is what I saw at the Apple website: So I thought the $29 upgrade was only for Leopard to Snow Leopard. Then I thought I had to upgrade from Tiger to Leopard, then from Leopard to Snow. Ouch. But if you're telling me that this upgrade allows me to leapfrog from 10.4 to 10.6, then I'd really consider this much more favourably. Thanks
The upgrade to Snow Leopard is worth the $29!
Ermm ... yes, but that's from Leopard to Snow. I'm only on Tiger. Thanks anyway.
I've clarified the FAQ to state, unequivocally, that Logos 4 Mac will not work on Mac OS X versions earlier than 10.5 and/or PowerPC hardware.
Thanks, Cameron

Thanks, Joe. Was hoping that L4 would not be totally incompatible with 10.4, just limited, perhaps, in functionality. So I guess that's out. Hmmm ... Upgrading both my Mac OS as well as my Logos at one go will be rather taxing (pun intended) on the wallet. And just to run L4. Will really have to consider this carefully.

  • Logos 4 Mac on OS X 10.4 (Tiger), Anybody?

I know that Cameron Watters has posted in the Mac Alpha FAQ that Logos 4 Mac requires Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or 10.6 (Snow Leopard) running on an Intel processor. Installing Logos 4 Mac on machine running Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or older ... will likely result in a bouncing dock icon and little or no additional feedback . See http://community.logos.com

  • Can't Print "Upgrade Discounter" Page

I'm trying to print my personalized "Upgrade Discounter" page. The first section which shows the Savings Calculator and my customized prices prints fine. But for the long list of books, all the notations which make the comparison possible are missing! Only the complete list of book titles appear. Specifically: 1) the "New" tag beside the book titles

Ahhhhhh .... Was blind, but now I see. Without looking carefully, I had wrongly assumed that all the resources with the tag are also the same ones that are listed in the Minimal Crossgrade. My oversight. In fact, there are actually more new resources in the Base Package Upgrade besides those bundled in the Minimal Crossgrade. Problem was that the new

  • Minimal Crossgrade vs "Upgrade" to Same Base Package

Sorry, I still don't get it. According to Logos: The Minimal Crossgrade gives you the minimum tools you need to experience Logos Bible Software 4. It includes only the engine, plus a few essential resources for Logos 4 to work properly. The Minimal Crossgrade Includes: English Bibles The Cambridge Paragraph Bible of the Authorized English Version GOD

I know this is not quite the conventional way to upgrade a base package, but ... I'm currently using Bible Study Library (Logos v3). Then I recently obtained (as a gift) a new base package ... the Scholar's Library (also Logos v3). If I were to install the new base package and register the license to the same user as the current user, will it just
