Both the two and three finger swipe moves tabs. Why not use one of these multitouch gestures for historial location navigation? This lost navigation is hard to adjust to.

In times past, I could save a personal book with links to PDF and have IOS IBook link directly to Logos. Recently, it first goes to the browser in ref.ly, then asks if it can open in Logos. What has changes and can the direct link be restored to direcly open in Logos? This is especially useful when using split screen on IPad Pro and having both Logos

  • Re: IPAD:Read function

I agree VoiceOver changes the total navigation of the IPAD. Before using, it is helpful to read about VoiceOver in the Ipad User Guide. If you set the home button to activate reading with the triple-tap, you can quickly turn on reading when in the resource and then turn it off when you want to stop. With some practice with the VoiceOver mode gestures

You can use VoiceOver on the IPAD to read resources in a computerized voice. Set the home button to activate reading with a triple tap. It continues to read across the page if you only have one resource displayed.

Create a Personal Book in Logos 5, then export and save to PDF. Links navigate to IOS version of LOGOS. Reference details in thread below: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/58110/553964.aspx#553964 t

Building Personal Books is documented in Logos 4/5 and also more details can be found at http://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books . Next, Use the PRINT/EXPORT (Cntrl+P) function within the Logos 4/5 resource to retain formats and hyperlinks. Export to Dropbox and read on IPAD. I like to use pdf format and read on IPad using IBooks for quick swipe navigation

  • Re: Personal Books?

You are correct that the IPad will link to Logos from any document with correctly structured hyperlinks, but they need to be manually created. The beauty of PPB documents exported is that they automatically create correct hyperlinks to both bible references or other resources contained in the PPB. Saves a lot of time!

What I do for class is use Word, then create a Personal Book in Logos 4/5 to create hyperlinks and export to PDF or Dropbox viewer in HTML. This provides great notes and Logos resources are a hyperlink away. Just swipe back to the notes. See link http://community.logos.com/forums/p/58110/435151.aspx#435151

  • Re: Personal Books?

Until PBB books are available within Logos on the Ipad, there is a good work around. You can read your PBB resource in iBooks, dynamically link to the Logos bible references or resources on the Ipad, then swipe back. Personal Book Builder on the Logos 4/5 desktop creates URL references such as logosref:BibleESV.Ps119.1-5 that work on the IPAD! After

I discovered that the Logos 4 desktop Personal Book Builder will create URL references such as logosref:BibleESV.Ps119.1-5 that work on the IPAD. You can then export the book to WORD and output to HTML or PDF and save to Dropbox. Both are easily accessed on the IPAD from Dropbox using the viewer or the PDF works well in iBooks since it includes bookmarks

Since the IPAD version of Logos does not allow personal books, I have found a workaround to have documents link to IPAD Logos by using URL links such as logosref:BibleESV.Ps119.1-5 . It is cumbersome to manually code each link, but I have found that I can paste blocks of text into Desktop Logos 4 then copy the text that is automatically linked. The
