What is the difference between these two resources: Discipleship Journal's Anthology on CD-ROM Libronix version ;Audiobook, CD] [Audio CD] (July 11, 2007 ed) (see: http://www.amazon.com/Discipleship-Journals-Anthology-Libronix-version/dp/1600061095/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1294212720&sr=8-2) and Discipleship Journal Anthology (Issues 1-150) -

  • Made the switch -- no turning back

I am now running Logos4 exclusively on my laptop -- Libronix has been uninstalled -- only book files left behind are PBB files (waiting hopefully for the day these can be read in Logos4). What made this the right time for me? It became apparent after Logos4.1x and now into 4.2 that we have definitely moved beyond "Beta" stage -- the program is maturing

Add 1 more vote -- especially since this is now out of print.

  • Disciplines for the Inner Life

I would love to see Bob and Michael Benson's Disciplines for the Inner Life placed into Logos format. This devotional resource cites different scriptures for each day, has several additional readings based on the weekly topic and could really use the Logos treatment. This is my new year's wish! This work has been in and out of production and is now

  • Re: should i buy?

Amazon is selling the hard copy at approx. $35/volume or you can buy the NT set for $751.00 new or the OT set volumes are similarly priced or the set for $1097.00. So you can buy hard copies volumes individually if you desire, but in the long run you will spend more than what Logos is asking on this sale. For me, I bit the bullet, put it on a 1 year

  • Re: Denominations

I know this is now past Christmas but a great resource is the Handbook of Denominations in the United States. Currently this is not in Logos format, but can be purchased as a (gasp) book at Amazon.com ( http://www.amazon.com/Handbook-Denominations-United-States-12th/dp/0687057841/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1293519972&sr=1-1) for only $12.99. • Re: Why less women?

Trust me, this is not a gender issue. After my question was rebuffed, I directly contacted Bob (Bob@logos.com) he sent a reply apologizing for this and gave me the solution his customer support would not and could not (didn't use the program said the CS person) give. Logos rapidly expanded its customer support reps after Logos4 rollout and not all of

  • Reading Plans -- Chapter a Day

I would like to set up a reading plan that would allow me to read 1 chapter of scripture each day. My reason -- I want to read 1 psalm a day for 150 days. Right now I can find no way to do this. If I choose Psalms as my reading refernce and 150 days as the time frame, it divides the psalms up without any thought to psalm length. Some days are two psalms

  • Re: When will Logos 4 be capable of reading PBBs?

Has any reason been given as to why this functionality is still AWOL? This program went gold in November 2009 -- and is still missing some key features from Libronix 3.x I see lots of 'neat' new features being introduced into Logos 4, but what I would really like is to at least have the basic functionality of being able to read all of my books in one

  • When will Logos 4 be capable of reading PBBs?

It's now past second quarter of 2010 -- when will PBBs be readable within Logos 4? I am still tethered to Libronix 3.x because of the PBB resources I use. (Or am I missing something here?)

  • PBB Reader

How does one go about getting the PBB reader for Logos 4. This was a free download in Libronix 3.x I have been using Libronix since its alpha days and have invested heavily in this format -- so I am hoping to not hear that it is ONLY available for a paid upgrade or new package. . .

  • Re: How do I get a refund?

If this still isn't getting resolved to your satisfaction you can always go to the top and email Bob Pritchett -- bob@logos.com. Bob is pretty understanding about customer service issues and really wants to keep his customers happy. BTW -- Bob has put his logos email out there at different times.

Jeremy, Sometimes the unlock code was on the cellophane that enclosed the CD. See if you have this; if not give Logos customer service a call.

  • Curious. . . Upgrade Discounts?

When do the upgrade discounts really end? Logos website and Logos4 software home page still highlight the upgrades -- yet everything says they are finished on 31 January. So, what is the story here? (Not that I can afford any major upgrades after getting on a $2,000+ payment plan for major engine repairs on my car + having a daughter's wedding upcoming

  • Re: Tyndale Commentaries -- Inconsistencies in Availability

You may be right, I had thought of that as well. this would be surprising though since Logos keeps track of even downloaded 'free' books in the past -- all of those show up on my account. If this isn't happening with the 'free engine' upgrade it seems to be a missed marketing opportunity -- i.e. "Now that you have tried the free engine, look at the

Joe, I have been keeping up with the discussion -- see my note above Bob's comments. Yet, Bob does state, "The fact that it hit the ftp and was pre-activated to Logos 4 purchasers is a mechanical "behind the scenes" customer service bonus , and can't replace or invalidate the CD-ROM sale. Without the sale of the CD-ROM we could not have done that. See

  • Tyndale Commentaries -- Inconsistencies in Availability

So, why do some customers get the Tyndale commentaries pushed via update to their Logos4 and others of us sit and wait for the physical discs with nary a word about getting the files via download?
