  • Re: Smart Tags broken in 6.3 SR1

Richard, I discovered the fix. You need to edit the first register command to read as follows: "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Logos4\6.3.0.0056\LogosCom.exe" /register Note that the change is you are registering LogosCom.exe rather than Logos.exe. Worked for me ... hope it works for you as well!

Richard, this feature saves me an enormous amount of time, and like you, I am very, very interested in finding a solution. I think I may have found a clue at least. Don't know if this is the case with you or not, but there are several other additional actions enabled in my Word for the AutoCorrect right-click menu. And the fact is, now NONE of them

I don't know if this makes any difference, but when I run the two commands, the first one (the register command) no error message appears, but neither does it say it is successful. Rather, Logos 6 comes to the front, as if I had clicked on a minimized icon. The second command when run does give a successful notice. Still SmartTags, though listed as

Looks like Richard and I are in the same situation, and it would seem that Logos SmartTags for us is gone ... but not forgotten!

I had posted in the Logos5 Forum about this as a reply to a post there. Oddly, my SmartTags did NOT stop working until the installation of Logos 6.3 SR-1. Once that was installed, which was supposed to have fixed a problem with SmartTags, mine stopped working. I've tried all the solutions given on the wiki page for Smart Tags and while the Action shows

  • Re: Smart Tag Feature Disappeared

Yes, Dave, I had been using Smart Tags up until the most recent update of Logos 6.3 SR1. That's when the ability to use it disappeared. It still shows under Options that it is enabled, but it still doesn't work. Any other thoughts as to what might be wrong? By the way, I have two identical computer systems (Windows 7), one at my home office and one

This is progress! Thank you, Graham. The commands succeeded this time without error messages. However, SmartTags in Word 2010 still doesn't work. I restarted both Word and Logos 6 after running the commands. Also tried the Registry edits needed and did delete the two things that should no longer be there, but Smart Tags still does not work.

I'm running 6.3 SR 1 and the application of that update was when the problem began. I am still not understanding how to deal with the error message, as I did not type any pathway. I copy/pasted the command and attempted to run it. I recall having to run commands every time a new update came out starting with Logos 6, and for several updates thereafter

My Smart Tags option also disappeared, but the suggestions at https://wiki.logos.com/Smart _Tags does not help get me up and running. When I attempt to run the first command mentioned for Logos 6, Windows returns this error message: Windows cannot find C:\Users ... Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. Can anyone suggest what I

After installing Logos 6, I notice SmartTags no longer is available in Word 2010. Is there a way to make it work again? If not, I'm in trouble!

After installing 5.2b SR 5, I get a log in screen when attempting to start Logos, and it will not respond to the attempt to sign in. Is anyone else having this difficulty?

Does anyone else find it irritating that clicking on Tools/Collections automatically creates a new collection whether one wants it or not? Or maybe I'm missing something. Is there another way to open an existing collection (other than searching) without going through Tools/Collections?

Thanks for the assistance. The Interlinear is KJV 1900 and the source is Vines. After rebooting the computer, the problem cleared up and it is operating normally now.

In the Reverse Interlinear, when I hover the mouse over a Strong's number it now flashes for a split second and disappears rather than remaining in place so it can be read. Any ideas what might be causing this behavior?

I experienced the same problem. Rebooting the computer fixed the problem. There seem to be more and more of these kinds of issues with Logos 5.

  • Indexing Message Stuck, but Not Indexing

Since adding the latest resource updates (which included some of the database updates), the message line under the headers indicates that Logos is indexing (with option to pause for 4 hours) but there is no indication of percentage done, and there is no Logos icon in the hidden icons showing that it is indexing at all. Have closed Logos and reopened
