  • Re: Command bar not working....

Thank you for your information and the thread. I tried a search, but couldn't come up with anything on this, your search fu must be better than mine. When I type something in the command box I do get the different options. I usually only use the command box on my Microsoft Surface which is pretty much a tablet. This was a great way to go to the direct

  • Re: Android Bible Word Study problems.

I agree. This is one of the reasons I used the Logos Mobile App. Now I almost don't like using it. Worse though than the lack of this functionality that the App had is the silence from these forums.

  • Android Bible Word Study problems.

I am using the up to date Logos App. Logos is online enough that I can download books. I am using the ESV or Lexham English Bible which both should have the Interlinear I have several lexicons, including the Bibles, downloaded to the phone. I used to be able to hold on to any word and it would bring up the menu where I could select "info." The app still

  • Re: Temporary highlighting

Thanks for the idea. Also, after I posted this question I realized that the Sermon Editor and its ability to change font and "speaker" might work as well.

  • Temporary highlighting

Hello. I am doing a Bible study on Ephesians 2. I am using the ESV. I want to highlight some words and some phrases, but I do not want this to be permanent highlighting in the resource. I know I could create a visual filter and then go and turn that filter off whenever I use the ESV. However, I don't want to do this. I just want a temporary way to highlight

  • Sermon Editor Print/Export font

Hello. I tried to search for this issue, but could not find anything. When I have a sermon and I export it to a RTF file or to Word the font in the ending document is far to large. I don't mean the headings, but even the normal is just way to large (Times New Roman size 14 actually). The font is just fine in Logos, but I have to export sometimes so

  • Re: Notes, Clippings, and Workflows

Wow, this is a good thread and just what I am looking for. I am currently trying to figure out how I want to do things. I have had Logos since Logos 3 and have always had all my notes on Bible verses in a single Note file. I thought about dividing it up into each book, but don't want the clutter. I use the favorites to set up specific topics. For instance

  • Re: Failed Search...cannot search Bible

Thank you for replying. First, I would say this should not be the error since I have had ESV downloaded to my phone for some time. However, just in case how do I tell my phone to index?

  • Failed Search...cannot search Bible

I am running into an error where I search for a word in the ESV Bible, which I have downloaded, and I get the result "search failed." Example: I search for the word "father" (No quotation marks) in the New Testament and it will return search failed. Can anyone help? I have a Samsung S7 with Android 6.0.1 I have the Logos Bible app 5.5.5

  • Do I need to buy Logos 7?

Long, Long, Long time Logos user here. I have spent so much with Logos I would be embarrassed if it wasn't for the learning the Bible. I am currently a Logos Now member and plan on continuing this for a good length of time. As such I have gotten the Logos 7 core application and have access to the new features. Now my question is, since I already have

  • Custom Image Slides for Sermon Editor possible?

Hello. Is it possible, when using the Sermon Editor, to create a custom slide without going through Logos Media. Let me explain. I am doing a sermon on Nebuchadnezzar's image from Daniel 2. I want to include an slide with a picture of that image. However, when I search the Media tool there is no such media. However, I have a copyright free image on

  • Re: What Hebrew Transliteration format should I use.

This is illustrates my problem. What are the differences between the formats? Which one is the more technical? Which one has an output like Strongs? I tried to research this on Logos and even outside, but my googlefu must be weak because I could find no information.

  • What Hebrew Transliteration format should I use.

Hello. I cannot read Hebrew and want to choose a good transliteration format that I can use to copy into papers I write. I would like the format to be something that can be easily stated in a sermon or paper. Should I just leave it to the default format: Scientific? What are the differences in the other formats?

Thank you for all the replies. I have used a couple of non-proctor training videos before and they are usually pretty decent. I will look more into the ones that have been mentioned in this thread.

I purchases a Surface Pro 3. I purchased the i5-8GB-256GB version. I have had it for several months now. Logos. Wow. I don't know what to say. It runs Logos as smoothly as any desktop or laptop. I finally have ditched the Logos mobile versions and now I use this. EVERYTHING at my fingertips while in Sunday School or the preacher teaches. Quick, responsive

  • Logos Training

I have been Logos for quite a few years now, but want to expand and get some real training on the program. I see that there is a Camp Logos 1 DVD and a Camp Logos 2 DVD. I also see there is LT51 Logos Academic Training. I purchased the LT51 Logos Academic Training and wonder what the difference between it and Camp Logos DVD 1 is?

I am going to school to get a BS: Religion-Biblical and Theological studies so I got on Logos.com and purchased a couple of new commentaries and they brought up a certain volume within a series, but I wanted to make sure they would go to the correct volume if I switched passages. I had this set up for the Pulpit commentaries, but am switching to a different

  • How to use multi-volume commentaries.

If this has been asked I apologize. I have my Bible tab and my commentary tab linked. This is great for single volume works. However I am not sure how to make this work for multi-volume works. Example. I click on 1 Cor 13:1 and a single volume work will go directly there. I have another commentary series that is in 9 volumes. Do I have to go into my
