I am no expert, but I think the difference here is that the BHS text is marked with vowels and the DSS manuscripts are not: so every word is different, even if the consonants are the same.

Looking on the website will usually tell you whether a resource is available on Biblia.com. If there is an icon to say that it works on the iPod or iPad then it will usually be available on Biblia.com.

With IE9 Beta you had to select compatability mode in the address bar to be able to post on the forums. Since I downloaded the release candidate, this seems to be resolved, and compatability mode does not appear as on option for the forums.

Thank you all for your advice. I hadn't spotted that I already have Futato in my library, so I will start with that, supplemented by the Heisner videos. I'll reconsider the primer at a later stage.

Please could someone recommend which is the best book for learning the basics of Hebrew, from the alphabet up, working alone. There are several options listed on the Hebrew page of the website, but it is difficult to choose between them.

I don't think you can alter the content of the popup: it is the information embedded in the resource that you are reading. You could, however, use the Information pane (opened from Tools). The settings menu of this pane allows to choose which resources to display information from.
