• Re: Biblia.com on Amazon Kindle browser

Although problems 2 and 3 can be worked around if I stick to the normal text size, problem 1 remains the major issue. I need a way to be able to get to the controls at the top of the full-screen view. Because of the device I am using, I do not have a mouse that can move anywhere, I only have a cursor controlled by up, down, left and right buttons. At

Having experimented a bit further, problems 2 and 3 seem to be mainly related to my desire to use a larger text size. Kindle offers only the opportunity to magnify the page not to actually change the text size, although on Biblia.com it does actually increase the text size while the main body of text (in the full-screen view) remains correctly placed

  • Biblia.com on Amazon Kindle browser

I posted this on another thread: Thank you. Biblia is certainly heading in the right direction. I have, however, hit three problems in viewing the new version of the site on my Kindle: 1. Once I go to the full-screen view, I have no way of getting out of it or navigating. I cannot get the cursor to go up to the controls at the top: on reaching the top

You can use the browser on Kindle to view library.logos.com or biblia.com.
A way to "close" the sidebar and one of the book panes so that I can just read a book., This would go a long way to getting around some peoples complaints that there is no way to read their Logos books on their web enabled eReaders.
This is available in the Mobile view, available from a link at the bottom of the

  • Footnotes in mobile view

Does anyone know what the deal is with footnotes in Biblia.com? In the standard view there are footnotes and pop-ups galore, easily accessible. However, I can't use this two-pane view on my Kindle or mobile phone. When I switch to the mobile view the layout is much better, but I can't access the footnotes. I note that the source code contains all the

  • Re: Amazon Kindle: What are the chances...

The other way to use the Kindle is using its in-built browser to visit library.logos.com. I am now using this to read longer books in places where I don't want to take my laptop (for example bed). The only down side is that you can't alter the text size, which is just slightly smaller than I would like. The advantage over the method of converting Logos
Nice... Sorry, no new forum software. It is really strange though. We were thinking about totally changing it up, so we ran that survey last week right here on the forums, and we were just as surprised as you to see 100% of the 54,000+ people who took the survey all said that this was the best forum software they had ever

  • Re: Library.logos.com: Can't login with the Kindle

I just bought the latest version of Kindle in the UK last week. The library seems to work fine on there. The only frustration is that isn't easy to change the size of text, so its just a little smaller than is comfortable. The usual sizing options available with Kindle books are not available on the web browser. Using the magnifcation option on the

The offer has been available twice in the past year. I didn't go for it during the 12 Days of Logos offer but did buy it earlier this year. Who knows whether it will happen again.

Keyboard shortcut has actually always been there, but you had to look in the help file to find a list of shortcuts. I like the way that the buttons as the top of the pane are now visible in my narrow columns, the reference box being made smaller when there are lots of icons to fit in.
It would also be useful to be able to control the interlinear from the pane menu. I work with 4 narrow columns on my screen. I cannot access the buttons at the top without floating the pane.
Thank you Logos for fixing this in the latest download.

  • Re: BUG: Expositor's opens to note instead of the verse.

It finds the best match for 15:7. The paragraph in the main commentary is headed 5-9. The note on 15:7 is the better match (because the software doesn't recognize it as a note, only a piece of text tagged with 15:7). The same applies is you type 15:7 into the locator bar.

OK, I've made some progress. If I press and hold SHIFT (not CTRL) after about 20 seconds I get to the login dialogue box, where I can select Work Offline. The program starts in the usual time (about 20 seconds) after that. However, that only seems to work once. If I try it again I get a 2 minute delay and no dialogue box. We really need a comment from
