• Automatic Updates-New Resources

Is there anyway to find out the contents of the updates? I got a message saying that new resources were being added to my library and I cannot figure out how to find out what the new resources are. In Logos 3, we were able to see the various components/resources/addins being updated into our systems. So, once again, how do I find out what the new resources

I had no idea what Growl was. Thanks for sharing. I don't know how to use it yet, but at least it's downloaded. It will be great to see what is downloading on my computer. Christina
“Mr. Douglas that’s a great dictionary set I just sold you. But it only contains the words A-Sh. What you really need is this last volume to go with it that contains the words Si-Z. Normally it sales for $100. I just happen to have it on sale today for only $64.95. You do want to have the complete set don’t you Mr. Douglas

Welcome, Christopher! Now if you can just come to Delaware and kindly retrieve ALL of your snow.......I relocated to Delaware, from Michigan, a few years ago and easily warmed to weather because typically get less than 15 inches of snow. However, in the last 5 days we've gotten about 52 inches. So, once again Christopher....please come and get your

  • Re: Just thought I'd post some "screen-shot" envy...the MAC has it "goin' on!"

I thought about all of the excitement Brother Joe Miller displays about the Mac product and decided to download it last night. Although I haven't started to use it yet, your post truly encouraged me. Once completed, I think the Mac version is going to be awesome! Now I'll get back into my devotions so I can ask God to take away my jealousy of Brother

  • Re: Ipod Touch questions

Luke, Although I don't understand a lot about GB, I do know that 8GB can fill up quickly. My 8GB iPod Touch contains several books downloaded from Amazon, using the Kindle app, about 100 songs, several apps, 8-20 video podcasts and some pictures. My iPod crashed a few weeks ago and I had to reload everything from scratch. It was at this point when I
Biopsy results back today. No cancer! So we don't know what's causing the nodules on the lungs or the super-low platelets and bleeding; but very good to know it's not cancer. THank you all for your prayers and encouragement. I am grateful to God for this trial and for what looks like is the preliminary outcome.
Praise

  • Re: OT: Pray for Chile

I certainly join all of you in prayer for those impacted by the horrific earthquake in Chile. We are looking at the news carefully since we're supposed to leave for Oahu on March 8th and my husband is scheduled to work in Santiago, Chile after our return from vacation. However, he is not certain if the business trip will still occur. Thanks for posting

Mark, Mark, Mark....why, why, why?.......Had I not seen your post, I wouldn't have known about March madness. Seeing your post at this very moment is funny because I literally just finished begging my darling husband to purchase, or contribute heavily, to my iPad. Now, I need to come up with a compelling argument to get more money for books! In all

  • Re: L4 and Mac tablet

I actually put off purchasing an e-book reader last year in hopes that the Apple tablet would be realized in the near future. I certainly had access to my Logos library in mind when evaluating whether to make a purchase immediately or to wait to see what Apple does in terms of a new product. Although I'm getting use to reading on my IPOD Touch, a larger

  • Re: The Jewish Encyclopedia- 12 Volumes by Isidore Singer

David, I am unfamiliar with this source, but I trust your opinion regarding this resource, even though I don't know you. I just ordered it on pre-pub. Also, I did a quick review on-line and, although someone said this encyclopedia is available to view for free on-line, I believe purchasing it, and being able to access it and use the tools available

Edwin, I didn't even realize I had the Holman resources in my library. I need to really take some time to become more familiar with all of my resources before I purchase an item twice. Thanks for the post - Christina

  • Re: The First Hebrew Primer

I've looked at this product for at least the past year, but have never made the commitment to purchase. I did, however, purchase the Hebrew/Greek software from Logos on pre-pub. I do truly miss all of the language skills I acquired in seminary and am hoping the Logos product will help tremendously, especially with Hebrew since I need more help in that
Just to let those running parallels know, that I find Logos runs better under boot camp. I'm using Windows 7
Daniel, to do as you suggested, do I have to set up the bootcamp partition again from scratch? I'm using VMware Fusion, and have recently purchased Windows 7. Thanks! • Re: 4.0a SR-3 System Crash

Mike, thanks so much for the information. I have Logos 4 loaded on my desktop and laptop, so I've just been using the desktop. It's bizarre that both computers are using the same version of L4, but the laptop just stopped working for no reason at all. I have not added or removed any software recently. I started to uninstall L4 the other night, but thought

Jack, please let us know what you thought about the Proctor workshop. I'd be really jealous right now, but I know that's not very nice. I just got the manuals and hope to attend the workshop in May when he comes to Philadelphia. Thanks! Christina
