• Re: Titles Added 1/20/10

Wow, that's just awesome! Now all I need is enough money to access all of this information on the infamous, greatly anticipated, IPad (hope I didn't break the new forum guidelines by mentioning the word IPad. If so, forgive me for my sins and wickednesses). At the very least, this expansion should set me up perfectly to receive an IPhone. How could

  • 4.0a SR-3 System Crash

Upgraded to latest version and it worked initially; however, I'm now unable to open the program. I'm running 4.0 using VMWare Fusion and Windows XP SP3. Each time I try to open the program, I get an error message saying that "Logos Bible Software 4 has encountered a problem and needs to close." I then get an option asking if I'd like to send an error

  • Re: Determine version of Logos ?

I just upgraded to Portfolio yesterday and had the exact same question as you. Once my resources downloaded and were indexed, I selected a few of the new resources from Portfolio and checked to make sure I had access to them. This was the only way I could think of to determine if my upgrade downloaded correctly. Christina

  • Re: Usability of the iPad vs. regular laptop?

You should certainly get a full desktop or laptop. The iPad, which I want desperately, is truly a device that's in between a iPhone and laptop. The experience of Logos 4 will be much richer and fuller on a full powered computer. Best wishes for seminary and how blessed you are to begin the journey with your own personal Biblical library. Blessings,

  • Re: Calling all Portfolio owners

It seems like a lot of people are waiting to hear back from Pam regarding that awesome price. What a blessing for her! At $800, I'd purchase Portfolio in a heartbeat! Christina

  • Re: payments for platinum upgrade?

I do believe you can utilize the payment plan option for this upgrade. I'm currently wrestling with the possibility of upgrading from Platinum to Portfolio. After putting the item in my cart, I didn't actually see the payment plan options until the end of the transaction, right before the section where you have to confirm the order prior to submission

Daniel, how were you able to restore your system? I believe the Microsoft updates might be the culprit which now prevents me from successfully launching Logos 4 on my laptop. Thanks! - Christina

  • Re: Scholar's to Platinum Upgrade

That's absolutely wonderful! There are times when we forget how awesome this software is because of the technical challenges some experience, at times. In the beginning, I considered even going back to Logos 3, but now I'm so use to all of my wonderful resources in Platinum until I'm toying with the idea of upgrading to Portfolio. I truly love Logos

  • Re: Should I run Windows, too?

It is certainly worth it to me. As of right now, I'm using VMware Fusion and XP SP3. I love being able to navigate easily between the Mac and Windows environments. Also, there are a few other programs loaded in my virtual machine that I'll continue to use, so going there to access Logos 4 is okay. However, I'm positive I'll use the Mac version of Logos

Logos, my dear Logos, I'm going to keep writing until you let me know that you're ready to unleash a new Logos app made specifically for the iPAD . I cannot wait to access my library using that device. Please don't make us wait as long as Steve Jobs did to find out about the new Logos app. Please....... Okay, I know that I've got to get a life real

Stop the presses! Guess I spoke too soon. Although the iPad is priced well below the expectations, $499, Apple is still using AT&T. If there infrastructure couldn't handle the traffic with the iPhone, how are they going to be able to adequately handle additional traffic as a result of the iPad? The device is going to come unlocked which might mean it

Stop the presses again! Guess there will be a version for Verizon. I'm so confused all I want is a iPad and Portfolio, of course.

http://www.apple.com/ipad/ipad-video/ I pray I'm not breaking any forum rules by posting the video above. The iPad is going to certainly make my Logos experience even that much better. I was a little disappointed intially, but after actually seeing the device, I'm in love! It is just the perfect size between my iPod and laptop. This device solidified

  • Apple iPad and Logos

As you probably know, Apple just announced the iPad today. We will be able to access our Logos libraries in a new way using that device. Although the iPod/IPhone app is wonderful, being able to read on a larger screen will be just fantastic. Check it out and, as said in another post, if I've violated forum guidelines by posting the video, please forgive
The Ipad's IBooks setup is EXACTLY how I would love to see my Logos library.... One a virtual bookshelf. Flip the bookshelf and you get their iBook Store. Nice!
John, me too. I'd love for my bookshelf to resemble that. Just beautiful! Christina

Logos 4 on my laptop still isn't working. Unfortunately, I am unable to activate logging and cannot figure out why. Can someone please tell me how to capture a screenshot? I notice that many people include them in their posts on the forum, but I'm unable to figure out how. Thanks! Christina
