• Logos 4 won't open - Help!

Logos 4 now crashes upon opening. Windows 7 says that "Logos Bible Software has stopped working" and that Windows is looking for a solution. Windows Defender uploaded an update and Logos never opened up successfully after that point. Since the program won't open, I'm unable to activate the logs. I've reloaded Logos 4 on my system at least twice since
When you make a decision as to whether or not you'll support other platforms, please let us know as much in advance as possible. Which platform Logos supports will play a huge role in which phone I upgrade to.
I second that! I'm trying to patiently wait because if I could access Logos from an Android phone, I'd actually

  • Re: Hopefully just a silly question

I actually checked to see if some of the books that were a part of the Portfolio package were loaded into my library. Additionally, I also compared the number of resources with the number available in Portfolio. Since I purchased several stand alone products, I knew my total number of resources should be greater than the Portfolio number. Although I
While in New York last week my wife bought me an iPad at the 5th avenue Apple store as she knew I wanted one but couldn't decide if I really needed it. One thing I was wrestling with was if it could be used for something productive and not just for entertainment. One of the first apps I bought was Pages for the iPad so I

  • Re: Reading whole books on screen - do you?

Great question! One of my greatest frustrations regarding Logos is my inability (note that I said my and not Logos) to read a book completely on my computer. I have the Portfolio package and part of my rationale in purchasing was I would commit to do more reading. However, I still cannot seem to get comfortable with reading on my laptop or desktop.

Thanks for even thinking about posting a video. I just discovered I had iMovie on my computer a few days ago and I'm going to schedule a class so I can fully learn how to use the software. I'm just loving my Mac! Christina

Greg, Thanks for sharing this information because I hadn't heard it yet. And, even if they wind up not being Christian in origin, it is still a really cool find that I'd be interested in reading, providing I can get a great deal in Community Pricing . Have a blessed weekend and thanks again! Christina

  • Re: Forum Week Show and Tell…

Okay, so I've wanted the Anchor Yale Bible Commentary (84 vols.) and the International Critical Commentary for ages. Missed the Anchor set on pre-pub and NEVER forgot it. So, after obtaining the "best offer" prices, I decided to purchase both sets. Although the ICC set can be found on-line in a free format (i.e. PDF, etc.), I quickly discovered, after

  • Help - Resources appear in Greek , really

For whatever reason, all of my resources are now appearing in Greek, however my Main page is still in English. Of course I'm trying to prepare for Bible study and can't seem my resources to appear in English. What setting am I missing? This didn't happen until after I downloaded an update last night. I use Logos on an iMac. Please help. Thanks! Christina

  • International Critical Commentary Commentary Set (Logos or EPub)

I am FINALLY in a financial position that would allow me to purchase the ICC set through Logos. However, I recently discovered that you can also get this set, including a download in a variety of formats, on-line for free. So, my question is, what is the justification for purchasing the set through LOGOS if I can get it in a usable format for free.

  • Logos 4 Mac won't fully open

An update installed today and, afterwards, Logos will not fully open. I can see the menu bar at the top of my screen, but the Homepage never opens and if I attempt to open it from the menu bar (File, Open, etc.), nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Someone in another forum suggested a program, Scrivener, which I purchased. It was pretty inexpensive and I'm learning committed to learning how to best use that program. However, I'd be really interested in learning more about your use of MindManager to develop your sermon outline. I have that program also and it's just sitting dormant on my computer

MarCia, I do truly understand your frustration. I've been working with Logos 4 on my laptop successfully since I purchased it. Now all of a sudden, it just stopped working. Although I've found a few suggestions on various forum posts, I've not even had the strength to wrestle with my laptop and just put the task of trying to fix it off until next week
