What's the best way to upload the log file?

I'm using 4.5c SR-4 (4.53.0.2299) and am required to login every time I start Logos. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm running on the latest version of Mountain Lion. Mark

I tried "Update Now" and "No Updates" appeared. Then, several minutes later, it downloaded the update in the background.
-
I have updates turned on and am using .2264, but it still won't update. What am I doing wrong?

Rick, Here's the link for the Beta installer: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/34221.aspx Mark

Logos has some downloadable vocabulary lists, but the instructions indicate a location in which to save the files that is specifically for Windows. Anyone know where to save the files for the Mac version of Logos? http://www.logos.com/support/lbs/vocabularylists#download Mark

Figured the beta would be the first to work with Mountain Lion. Still crashes on launch.
-
Any fixes in this release related to Mountain Lion?
-
When using the general release of Logos 4 it will launch, but show no home screen or main windows. I can open a library window, but not open any books in the library. When I tried the beta, it would crash immediately without loading. Interesting.

I'm editing a study Bible, updating it from the KJV to the NKJV. It has extensive summaries at the end of each book, and word counts are a part of that summary. I wanted the statistical summaries to be as accurate as possible, double-checking my figures from the results of more than one Bible software application.

The implication here is that it's an either/or situation. Accordance searches for words, verses and phrases across hundreds of resources even quicker than it performs a word search, which only takes seconds. So Logos appears to have made the decision that speed is not a priority for certain types of searches.

Thanks Alabama.

Where can I go to download the beta versions of Logos for the Mac? The Windows betas are posted in the Windows forum, but I don't see anything similar in the Mac forum. Thanks, Mark

No. The user can select the level of "sandboxing" required by the OS. You can restrict apps to: 1. only those purchases from the app store, 2. only those apps from identified sellers, or 3. apps downloaded from anywhere. I have the third option selected. Mark

No, Accordance doesn't have any pre-populated word count tables. You can perform a word search on any part or all of any resource (Church Fathers in Latin and/or Greek, Dead Sea Scrolls, Theological Journals, etc) and the speed is the same. It doesn't have to be a word search, any type of search involves the same speed. Actually, you can check this

Accordance uses the same command as Logos and displays all the hit words in all the verses, just as Logos does. It does this on the fly as, I assume, Logos does. Took 2 seconds to search for, and display, every word in every verse of the NKJV using Accordance. That's why I assumed I was doing something wrong when attempting to perform the same search

I realize I'm using Logos on a pre-release version of the Mac OS (so don't flame me :-) Just wanted those working with Mountain Lion to be aware that, at least on my machine, the latest ML Developer Release ( 12A248) kept Logos from launching all the way. Curious to see if that's the case with everyone, and wanted others to be forewarned if they use

Wow! It took over a minute to find a word count in 2 John alone? It tok Accordance 3 seconds to find every word in the entire Bible!

MJ, Thanks for the reply and the shout-out for Gordon Fee. Anything he writes is awesome. However, I don't need to know the word count for the NKJV, I already found it using Accordance. I need to know HOW to do it in Logos. I'm stumped. Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.
