Just out of curiosity, do the books show up on your iPhone? Mark

Rick, Just curious, are you using these texts for a class? I hadn't heard of them before, but the volume on Romans by Moo looks great. Mark

Tom, Thanks for the help. I deleted the ResourceManager.db file on both machines. It solved my problem. I now have the same number of resources showing up on both my Macs.

Bob, Thanks for your reply; I appreciate the personal response :-)
How did the resources get into the Resource directory? Did they get downloaded from the Internet on both systems the same way? Or copied as part of the DVD installation? Or did you manually copy them from one installation to the other?
I had the exact

If this were the first time I'd posted a question and never received a response from Logos, I'd agree. However, this happens a LOT, and not just for me. I'd also point out that MUCH smaller Bible software companies seem to be able to answer questions on their forums regardless of the time of year. I'd also add that this is only a holiday in the US.

Does anyone from Logos even look at these messages? I just spoke to a missionary friend overseas who is really frustrated with the lack of support from Logos. He has resources that are locked (and shouldn't be) and many emails, postings, etc. haven't seen any response. I appreciate the users who have tried to respond to this question, but it's really
in your "Program Settings" (scroll to the bottom) there is a place to "hidden resources" so that while the file is in your /logos4 folder it is not showing up in your library.
Mitch, Unfortunately, the Program Settings have not been implemented in the Mac version of Logos 4 yet.

I wish that were so. Performed a search for "131 Christians" with no result (as I would expect, since it doesn't appear in my library, only in the "resources" folder of my drive).

There are about 50 resources that are showing up on on of my Macs in the Library, but not the other. The resources are there in the Resources folder, but don't show up in the Logos 4 library. An example is 131 Things Every Christian Should Know (file name 131CHRSTNSKNW.logos4) Anyone know why these 50 resources would be in the resources folder of both

  • Re: Issue #XXXXXXXXXXX

Regardless of how the original poster worded his comments, he expresses a valid argument. A user who has heavily invested in Logos 3 and purchases an upgrade to Logos 4 can get a refund for L4, but not for L3. Because Logos can't justifiably promise to support L3 through every upcoming release of WIndows, he is stuck with a large investment in a program
You can't restrict a result word to a particular length in L4 nor L3.
Wow, are you sure about that? That's an extremely basic and important function for any kind of study in the original languages. I really think there has to be a way to perform a search in the Hebrew and limit the search based on word length.

Sticking with Logos 3 is only a good idea if Logos promises to support it indefinitely.

http://www .accordancebible.com I'd like to add that I wouldn't be giving out a competitor's information if someone from Logos would have answered what should be a very basic question. Frankly, I still would like to know the answer to this question.

Happens for me too. Indexing was fine until Alpha 4, now indexing begins each time I start either of my computers or launch Logos4. Indexing always ends up crashing. I'll add my logs if anyone from Logos is interested.
