  • Gramcord use in Windows 10

I use nothing but Logos, but once bought a copy of Gramcord, which I have never used. I found a retired seminary classmate still using nothing but paper original language resources. I thought I could give him my copy of Gramcord, but neither he nor I can find any information about how to use it with recent Windows systems. Gramcord apparently doesn

  • Re: 3rd International dictionary for Android: free today at Amazon

This offer is still active and there are other apps that are also worth consideration. Please check to see how long. Sorry about implying that this was only for one day.

  • 3rd International dictionary for Android: free today at Amazon

In case a person with an Android is interested in a great deal on the Merriam-Webster 3rd International . . . . . . today, Thursday, Amazon through its appstore, is not charging the usual $59 for the 3rd International, but is giving it away. In case you don't currently have space for it (I don't), going through the process of "purchasing" it will keep

This could be a good time to check out a Venue 8 Pro in the Dell Outlet. http://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/22/campaigns/dell_outlet_home_sale?c=us&l=en&s=dfh&dgc=EM&cid=282029&lid=5356351&acd=12309159430259878 There also seems to be a reference to 64 bit Windows. I know nothing about that, but the prices seem quite good. Mine has been working fine, even

I can report that after months, I have had zero thermal issues with this V8P. As for thermal issues, I have a Nexus 4--THAT has serious heat and battery limitations, but nothing as far as the V8P. I haven't found much limitation with the resolution of the 8-inch Venue Pro either. For sitting casually, the size AND resolution seem just right. In other

  • Re: Venue 8 Pro combined charge AND data connection

In spite of editing what I write, I see a mistake in what I just wrote. I'm using Logos with 2 (not 32) gig of RAM and 32 gig of "hard drive," eMMC, or whatever you call the non-rotating memory in the V8P. I have Logos on the micro SD, which is 64 gig, but I notice it has 45 gig free, so it would seem safe to use a 32 gig micro SD. The OTG cable I mentioned

Regarding prices of V8P's: After getting on the mailing list for the Dell Outlet, I recently received an e-mail for a special on tablets. I saw a 30% discount, but not for V11P's, only for the eight-inch. In recent days, I've only seen prices in the $300's, but for the first day or so, there were plenty available for $209 and $219. Some of these included

Here's a hastily-prepared suggestion about touchmousepointer. If you'd be so kind as to tell me how/whether it helps and where it's not clear enough, I'll work on it some more and try to get it clear enough to be useful Making directions clear is never simple, so I appreciate your help. Here goes: Install touchmousepointer from lovesummertrue.com When

  • Venue 8 Pro combined charge AND data connection

On Kickstarter today, Plugable has posted a device able to charge the Venue 8 Pro AND do all kinds of other connections at the same time. From what I know, this is something no one else has. And there are still some available for $65, which is a great price. The catch, of course, is that this device won't be available until November. Nonetheless I've

  • Venue 8 Pro and Logos 5

I have been using Logos 5 with a 32 GB Dell Venue 8 Pro with a large micro SD card for some weeks by this time. Rather to my surprise, this combination works really well. Bringing up Logos 5 is some slower than on my i5 750 desktop, but otherwise speed is hardly an issue. The Logos installation itself is on the 64 GB micro SD, which is still formatted
