When I search for the Greek word εὐαγγέλιον (Gospel) with the search range Romans (NKJV) using the Bible Word Study, it returns 10 results: Rom 1:1,9,16; 2:16; 10:16; 11:28; 15:16, 19, 29; 16:25. However, when I do a Bible search for the same Greek word (using NKJV or Top Bibles) it returns only 7 results: Rom 1:1,16; 2:16; 11:28; 15:16,19; 16:25. The

  • Reporting a misspelling

In the commentary, "Romans: The MacArthur New Testament Commentary," on page 458 the section title is "The Groaning of Beliebers." Shouldn't this be "The Groaning of Believers"? I'm not sure if this the right place to report this, but here it is.

For some reason the website signed me in as the number 130897. I'm not a number. I'm Bruce Lundquist and I'm thrilled to have and use Logos, but disappointed in the way Mobile Ed is being sold.

I'm also having this problem. Here's the situation and analysis. I have a MacBook Pro Retina with OS 10.8.4. It has 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Memory. Processor Speed 2.3 CGz with 4 Cores and a Solid State Drive. Just recently I noticed that this laptop has been running hot and the fan runs a lot. I found out that the reason is the latest version of Logos

  • Re: How are you using Evernote in conjunction with Logos?

Before switching to the Mac Book Pro, I was a Windows laptop user. Like you Nicky I wrote my prayer, but on Microsoft Office OneNote. I did it for years! I then switched to the Mac and am glad I did. However, despite having Office for Mac, they have never written a OneNote app for the Mac. I tried Evernote, but it was so different from OneNote I abandon

Alexander, Thanks for sharing that link. I watch a couple of lessons and you are right. They have memorization down. I really have a lot of hope for the one in Logos 5. Bradley, Are there plans for adding this to IPad/Iphone app? Blessings from above.
This is definitely on our list of future enhancements for the Passage List memorisation tool (but we don't currently have an estimated date for when it will be available).
Bradley, I completely understand! I work in IT as a Support Engineer and formerly a programmer. I've had to explain the same thing

  • Passage List Memorize shows only one verse at a time

I really like the new Memorize feature. Great enhancement. One problem though. I've created a passage list where one passage may be two or more verses. But when I go to memorize a passage of scripture, say Psalm 103:1-4, I'm stuck seeing only one verse at a time. I think it would be better to work on the whole thing. Also, I see no reason for the font

Nathan, I just upgraded also, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm really looking forward to attending one of Morris Proctor's classes. But until then I can recommend a video by Mark Barnes. He's a pastor in Great Britain. Take a look at https://vimeo.com/53246728 . It's an introductory video, but I'm sure he will create more. I hope this helps.

I switched from using Windows 7 laptop to MacBook Pro retina display. I like the display and speed so far. I still haven't gotten it to sync yet though. I've attached the zip file with the logs in it. 6428.LogosArchive.zip Thanks for your help and God bless.

  • Unable to add a note to one word

I love to add notes to Logos. When I find something that helps me to understand a passage better I'm quick to add a note to that passage or verse, or even to one word. While studying Romans 6 in NKJV I found that the word "glory" in Romans 6:4 , according to Louw-Nida means " a manifestation of power characterized by glory." NLT translates it as "glorious

  • Re: About to buy a tablet specifically for Logos. Is the Android app good enough?

These are all really great questions. I run the full Logos 4 on a Fujitu tablet. It's fine, but and I can go into tablet mode, but swiveling the monitor around. However, it isn't an iPad. It would be great to have a tablet like an iPad size-wise, but space would be a huge problem I think. I'm running the Platinum version, and along with Microsoft Office

Thanks very much everyone! I'm losing it. I don't know why I didn't notice it was a folder. Fortunately I didn't delete it. Also, I already have CCleaner and am using it. Thanks again, and God bless you all.

  • Unknown File taking up space

I've been fighting disk space problems for some time now. I just got a File Analyser program and it discovered one file that is 16 G in size. I'd like to delete it. I did a search for the name of the file on this forum and on google, but no luck. It's in a Logos directory so I thought I'd ask before the drastic measure. Here's the location and size

  • iPhone App has my favorites, but not their folders

Logos, great job on the iPhone App! It's coming along nicely. However, regarding Favorites, are you planning to bring in the folders that hold the favorites? I hope so. It's hard to find some of the most recent and important (to me) favorite verses because they are not in their respective folders. Is this going to get fixed any time soon? Thanks much

I just thought I'd check in and see where highlighting was on the upgrade list. I love Logos on the iPhone, but it would be even better if I could see my highlights and add more. I've done application programming and to me that sounds like a really tall order, but I'm thoroughly amazed at what you all have done so far. Is there any projected deployment
We added a "remove duplicate notes" command to 4.2a SR-3 today. First, type "update now" in the command box to check for updates and download the latest release. • Re: Audio Books Status?

I tried to listen to a book in L4, but it's so mechanical that it was difficult to continue. A friend of mine has a Kindle and that is so much better. This leads me to think that at some point Logos will also improve the voice. I can wait. As for listening to Audio books at MP3 in the car, these can also be saved as iPod format and listened in the car
