Thanks for sharing your experiences! The only sermon collection mentioned that I have is Spurgeon. I will look into Piper. Are MacArthur's sermons available in Logos? I would be thankful if others also are willing to share which are their favorite sermon collection and why.

I have a question especially for you preaching pastors: Which sermon collection is most useful to you? And why?

Thank you all for trying to explain this. I understand that it is a complex issue. I am happy as long as it works.

I installed the newest version of Adobe Flashplayer, and that seems to have solved the problem. But don't ask me why... Maybe someone else can explain?
What's wrong with that? I would assume it isn't a bug in Logos, but in the video driver / hardware. I see that you took a photograph of your screen. What does a screen shot (not using a camera) look like? See this site if you are unsure about screenshots: http://www.take-a-screenshot.org
Thanks for your reply, alabama24

  • Re: Bug: black areas on the screen

It seems like it is only a problem when I have connected a second screen. I have discovered that everything is normal when I only use the internal screen on the laptop. EDIT: Almost normal. There are some minor black bugs when I have not connected a second monitor, but not at all as much as with two monitors.. My videocard is AMD Radeon HD 8750M, and

  • Bug: black areas on the screen

I have installed Logos 5 on a new computer, downloaded the whole library, and waited for the indexing to be finished. I use windows 7 64-bit. But there is a bug in Logos. Black areas appear on the screen of Logos 5. Sometimes the whole program turns black, and then it returns to almost normal view, or with some black areas again. EDIT: This does only

  • ICC resources not appearing in iPad App

I bought the Anglican package that included the 59 vol ICC set. The last 5 volumes downloaded to my Pc and were added to my library yesterday. But they are not appearing in my iPad/iPhone app, nor in biblia.com. It is the same in the Verbum app, the Vyrso app, and the Faithlife Study Bibe app. I have tried to exit app and restart. I have also deleted
If you have the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society vol 50 (2007), there's an article by Robert Suh titled "The Use Of Ezekiel 37 In Ephesians 2". If Suh is right, then Paul probably has not only Eze 37:26-27 but the rest of Ezekiel (chapters40-48) is probably in view as well.
Allen, I have now read the

Thanks Allen! This input is useful. This is very close to how I am thinking. I will look into the areas you are mentioning. I have Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, but had not noticed this article. This seems interesting! I do not have Perrin's book, Jesus the Temple , but I will check it out. Thanks for the advice!

  • The influences on Paul's temple theology

How would you search your library to understand what influenced Paul's temple theology? My main focus are 1Cor 3:16-17, 1Cor 6:19, 2Cor 6:16 and Eph 2:19-22. I have searched the commentaries and encyclopedias, and also done some basic searches to find articles and books about this. I have found some interesting sources, but I thought that some of you

  • Why not dynamic pricing on every collection?

Why isn't every collection presented with dynamic pricing? It would be nice (and fair) if I could trust that I don't pay for the same book twice. And often it is hard to figure out exactly which books I own in a collection. I have also noticed that some collections have dynamic pricing for a period of time, and then it is gone. Why?
