  • Re: Text Comparison Font Colors

RE: change the font colors... in Text Comparison? The best way that I have found to do this is to use the "Magnifier" app (on Windows 10). This is an accessibility feature, yet works great here. The way I have it set up for this is to use "full screen" magnification set at "100%". This way, nothing is actually magnified. When I click "CTRL+ALT+I", however

I just found an Android option that [basically] works! Now, on my phone, there is a small overlay button. When I click it, the Logos book displayed on the screen is read out loud with TTS! - - - - - - - - - - To achieve this, I had to use two other (non-logos) apps. They both need to be enabled to run in the background: 1. "Textus - Screenshot to Text

IOS and Android are different though. Have you been able to confirm that you can get Talkback (TTS) to work on an Android device? Android's "Select to Speak" now works with the Kindle app (it didn't before), but it I can not get it to work with Logos books.

  • Accessibility Updates

    1) Is there any update on the prospects of further accessibility features? 2) Is is planned to pursue/develop tts on mobile devices? (especially Android) ... I was saddened when the "send to kindle" feature was retracted, as this helped greatly with text-to-speech on the go. While I sympathize with the fact that there were legal complications, I also

  • Add "Notes" from "Clippings" Files.

If notes in a note file could be added by inserting "cards" from a clippings file, then the note file could be used as an outlining tool for reasearch orientated writing. (similar to Biblioscape). As a secondary option... if a note file could export "bibliography only", then notes & citations could be dynamically used for multiple projects, while being

(see link below for this quote) Questions: What is the estimate (or goal) for releasing this feature? What would it take to either get this feature "officially sanctioned" and raised

  • Custom Vocab Lists

Is there a way to create a vocabulary list by searching for terms in a specific book/chapter that are also vocabulary entries in a chosen dictionary? (...or from a chosen collection; I made a collection from IVP's series of "Pocket" dictionaries) I am studying the passages referenced in a book I am reading prior to reading each chapter. I would like

I just saw this old thread... I would like to second a request for the "Pocket Dictionary for the Study of Biblical Hebrew". My reason for wanting it in digital format is for memorization of vocab terms... longer definitions are great for study, but short ones can be memorized with a flashcard software.

I would also jump up and down for a desktop version... 1) Not everyone feels comfortable reading books logos "online". [This point is independent of connection speed.] This may seem like a duh factor ("don't us then!"), but for those who could benefit from the other two points, it is relevent. 2) "Reading mode" does not help the startup time

THANK YOU LOGOS FOR ADDING VYROS!. I have been putting off buying an ebook reader for a long time... with dyslexia, I need books read to me. So, my only option was kindle... but I was putting this off because you can't copy & paste quotations into MS Word for typing papers. (because of this, I knew that any book I were to buy for kindle, I would want

I will also be excited for this option! for the wishlist, you can already add logos items to wishlists at many other sites (like amazon). That wouldn't have the cool feature of an item being automatically activated on a certain date, but it does mean that your list can be accessible for others to use. One idea for the meantime: It would be nice

Thanks for the idea; I'll give that a try! Before I try that, however, I first want to make sure that Logos hasn't already made available one of the potential work-a-rounds that I've been trying. (1) I use L4 consistently on two separate computers. Is there a way to take the updated "index file " from my larger computer, copy them to a USB key, and

Quick update... I have freed up 3GB of space, but I continue to recieve a message that says "Logos Bible Software 4 has stopped indexing your library because here is insuficient free disk space. Please check that you have at least 1 GB of free space avavailable. then restart Logos 4 to continue." I am sure there is a temporary solution to help me get

Great! ... I hope they add this soon. *I had to cancel the latest update on my netbook due to lack of space.* It runs the program fine (in fact, the main reason I bought the netbook Tablet PC is for running the software), but needed 1GB free space for a single update! These turned out to be just temporary files, but I had to temporarily uninstall other

Fully agreed... This was the first thing I tried (& tried...) to do upon updating. Not having this feature makes it so that you must either neglect the benefit from version 3 (opening program to default view) or neglect [using fully] the benefit of version 4 (homepage). This aside... I LOVE the update!
