  • Logos 6 refuses to open.

4111.Logos Log Files.zip The problem I am having is that my LOGOS 6 will not open. I have run a scan on my hard drive and have deleted threats that I was surprised to have. The error message I receive is "Logos has encountered a problem and has stopped working correctly. Close program" Logos is working fine on my other two computers. The error is on

I'm with you David. But as I see it I didn't switch from Logos for mobile devices...they dumped me a long time ago. I will stick with the program for desktop, laptop and Surface (which is a great tablet) and use alternatives for my Windows Phone which at the present time are more than adequate for the limited abilities of any smartphone when it comers

I will not get into the numbers game because that is only a small portion of the equation plus whatever number I put out there someone on this thread will take issue with. Having been in management of a large financial institution for over 30 years I understand that many factors are taken into count when offering a new product not just one factor as

Thanks for the question which I think is the real issue here. Logos wants to base their decision on "total market share" of the OS. My premises is that the decision should not be based on "total market share" but on "Logos customer share" and if the "total market share" is a part of the equation it should be the trend as opposed to a number/percentage

If "Wait and See" is Bob's business model regarding the Windows Phone app (as he has openly stated and has every right to do) then why not adopt it as the customer business model for any future Logos purchases, which is our right to do. As my friend from Alabama has suggested were aren't saying as customers we won't invest in Logos in the future just

Actually, to "wait and see" is "not investing". Think about it.

You have all the answers and are always right. My original issue with Logo is that I have invested much time and finances into the product and now that they have my money they have changed the rules and become Apple minions. I haven't bought anything from Logos since they have made this decision and probably won't as long as this attitude remains. Apparently

If that is your thought process Bama, then every time Apple comes out with an OS update that means the OS being updated was a "total failure". You best rethink your logic. It doesn't add up.

Steve, I think you may be correct, that basically this is much to do over nothing when it comes to the phone applications, regardless of iphone. android or windows. Thinking back to when I had the Logos software loaded on my prior android phone it was of little value for serious study due the small screen size. I too use the Logos software on my desktop

Don, if I offended you, I apologize, that was not the intent. For a company such as Logos whose mission was to provide a tool for all to enhance Bible study, operating platform "market share" should be only a small part of the equation. Any company's primary business goal should be to service the desires of the customers first, who have thru purchasing

The anti Microsoft/Windows people continue to spew their evil talk of hated but I an quite happy and satis fied with my Windows Phone and operating systems as others in this thread have also indicated. I will keep my Windows Phone and do without Logos as I have found other alternatives that provide comparable apps for the Windows Phone as Logos gets

If you check other threads on this form you will find I am not alone. I will keep my windows phone and do without Logos on it as I have found other alternatives that provide comparable

Where is Blackberry now? Bankrupt I believe. If all you say is true why did you even bother with an app for Surface? It appears to me your mind is made up about Windows Phone based on looking at just the failures rather than weighing them against the success of Microsoft. That's a really balanced business approach. I can live without Logos on my phone

I did find a small post by "Bob" over a year ago on another thread more supportive of the windows phone platform which all future post by me will be directed to. The post by "Bob" in my opinion was very weak and not responsive to the issue. That being said, thanks to those with constructive comments and to the others just thanks for your input.

I have just switched from an Android phone to a Windows Phone and the Windows Phone is far superior to the Android. Logos please stop debating before you wait yourself out of the market. I agree with many others on this thread. You are already committed to the Windows platform stop procrastinating and get a move on, please.
