This should be fixed in 5.2 Beta 1.

This should be implemented in 5.2 Beta 1.

To go along with the new Smart Selection feature added in the 5.2 Beta, we will be republishing 10 resources that have been compiled with Smart Selection data. This update should only download for users with 5.2 Beta 1 installed. We'd like users to specifically test these resources and the Smart Selection feature once they are available. The resources
Hello ... hoping to get some attention (?) Now that NASB has finally been updated, looks like problem reported here since 2011 is still not fixed
This has been fixed in the 2013-09-28 update to this resource.

I'm not able to reproduce this crash. Could you provide the Logos.log as well? That will give a little more context to what's going on.
-
I went back as far as 5.1a SR 1 and none of my builds had this feature. I have created a case to see if this has ever been implemented, or if it is something we can implement.

I have tested several shortcuts with command line parameters and they seem to work just fine, so I would assume its the association with the .SES filetype that is unsupported. I'll double check with a developer and update this thread if it's something that will be fixed, but since we don't directly support other programs like that, it will likely remain

So I've spoken with a developer and we've looked into this, and here's what the logs indicate:
Loaded window placement from preferences: Height=300|Left=219|State=Maximized|Top=240|Width=400|WorkHeight=0|WorkLeft=0|WorkTop=0|WorkWidth=0 Setting window placement: {219, 240, 400, 300} | frame: {{219, 338}, {400, 300}} | state: 1 | frame: {{0, 64
the image doesn't respond to the font slider. This is also true about the little graph. But maybe that's connected to the program scaling issue on Mac?
I've looked into this, and those two elements (the image and the graph) are not intended to be controlled by the font slider, because they don't contain the "standard" text

I was able to reproduce this with the list of resources you provided, and will make a case for it. For your information, I was able to get the button to come back by scrolling up a bit and back down, essentially "refreshing" the milestone. Also, you can go through the list of parallel resources (sequentially, so it is limited) by using the Left/Right

Sorry, what I meant by "don't support" doesn't mean that the program won't run, it means that we don't plan to implement around it. The simple thing would just be to tab out of Logos and run it via Windows. I apologize that this isn't ideal.

I followed your reproduction steps, and for me the notification bar did appear to let me know it was indexing.
as did the yellow exclamation mark
My understanding is that this only appears when the notification bar is closed or disabled. Do you happen to have "Show the Notification Bar" set to No in Program Settings

I can't reproduce this, but I do know we don't actually support Zondervan software. My first guess would be that since the program requires XP mode to run, and Logos 5 doesn't support XP, that's the conflict. If you experience this with shortcuts for other, more modern programs, let us know.
open to blank layout click on "home" to open home page as "home page" is opening notice L5 is syncing
Thanks for the reproduction steps, I was able to reproduce and I have created a case for development to investigate this.

I am unable to reproduce this issue. What operating system are you using? Could you attach logs? See my signature if you need to enable logging.

We haven't been able to reproduce this, so we'll need some more information. What screen resolution are you using?
This is marked as fixed in 5.1b RC1 .
I'll take the blame on this one, I forgot to update the thread yesterday. This is indeed fixed in 5.1b RC 1.
1) If the wanted word is found, the lectionary opens to the empty space below the text it's in -- which in the case of the Daf Yomi can be a very long way from where it actually is.
I was able to reproduce this and have created a case for development.
As long as I move backwards one step at the time Logos
This is still an issue in 5.1a. It would be nice if there was at least a case filed for it...
I was able to reproduce this issue and have created a case for development.
the isssue is that the text within qoutes should come from one of the tags , not be aggregated from multiple partial hits from several tags.
I have created a case for development to investigate this issue, and linked to this thread.
