  • Re: PB: Dr. Constable's Expository (Bible Study) Notes

I did email Dan and he replied and said that he has contacted their team and that they have given this more priority, but also that he could not promise anything time-wise.

Well, I've not seen anything on Logos regarding a new version of these notes yet. I may ping Dan again, and see what he says. In the mean time, I've updated my Word documents to the 2017 version. Email me ( marckdavis1 at gmail dot com ) if you'd like any more info. on that. If I do get around to pinging Dan and I hear back, I'll post any relevant info

OK here's the latest: I've dialogued with Dan Pritchett and he said that the Product and Licensing Teams are in middle of working to update the notes and are close to having an update ready. So I am not to post them. Dr. Constable's notes are generally updated annually, so I don't know how current they will be kept in a Logos format, but we'll see.

Indeed I will. Hoping to hear back soon, they are looking into it.

Well, considering there's probably around 1500 more pages since the 2003 version, I would say they have probably changed a bit! I'm contacting Faithlife to find out about this posting.

Interestng. It's against Soniclight's copyright policy to make the notes available commercially. This is strange ... I'll have to get to the bottom of this (also I thought I had searched Logos, but apparently not).

  • Dr. Constable's Expository (Bible Study) Notes

I have received permission directly from Dr. Thomas L. Constable and Sonic Light to provide these copyrighted works (of Dr. Constable) on this site for Logos Bible Software users. Dr. Constable's notes "provide commentary on all 66 books of the Bible, and contain 8,547 pages of material," and make for an excellent addition to your Logos Personal Books

  • Re: NIV 84?

Anthony, depending on what you want to spend to get it, it is often (and currently as of this post) available here via an older Logos version purchase that includes it. I actually have it as well as the new one because of how long I've had Logos Bible Software. Personally I am a fan of the ESV though, and have been since its release. Also, when I made

Good grief! Nevermind, I found it! It was on the entire time, I just never look closely and noticed that I could expand/open it, not to mention I would never have looked for a TOC there! Thank you Nathan, all set now too!

OK, I'm having the same problem but have no idea what the Locator Bar is, and cannot get a TOC to be generated for anything. I have followed all of the instructions here to no avail. Can anyone help me to get PBB to generate a table of contents!? Thank you!

  • Re: Personal Books - Sermons

Ditto! And why isn't there? With the headers that the Word macros create, it looks as if there should be a "Sermon" file type and an Illustration file type. Why isn't there and/or why doesn't it show up in Logos? Do we really have to decide to label sermons as Bible Notes, or Monographs, this seems silly and will make it more difficult to isolate sermons

While I have similar questions and concerns, I did find this which helped a bit: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/37157/410162.aspx#410162 - link to a post with macros (and a video) for Word 2010 to help in creating sermon files (there are also links for Word 2007 and 2003 if you search a little) My question now is, even with those macros, when I

PRAISE Having notes and highlighting (along with favorites) is what I have been waiting for, for some time. Well done! I love the sidebar menus instead of the menu being at the bottom! It is much easier to navigate now! I would have put these on my post above, however, post editing seems to be broken at the moment.

Notes and Highlights!! PTL! Thanks for all of your hard work, this is awesome! BUGs On my Motorola Atrix 2 running Android 2.3.x, when I select some text and then select "Highlight", if, instead of selecting an option, I swipe my finger as if to scroll for more possible options, the entire options area turns bright white. This can be reversed (changed

[quote user="TCBlack"] Mikko, That is a good suggestion. The good news is that the Wiki can be edited by anyone.
