  • Re: What's New in Logos 6

I've just downloaded my L6 Platinum and it is indexing as I write. (not holding breath, LOL) I opened Logos on my pad and it does not appear to have any changes. Not that I'm complaining, I enjoy how Logos works on my pad, but I just wondered if there is or will be any change to the software on my pad and phone.

I've noticed that when I hover my cursor over a word in the NA28, I get the lemma & morphology, but not a translation like I get in the NA27. How come????

  • Update failures

Every time I start Logos on my Laptop I get a blank dialog box with a Yes and No button. When I click on the Yes button it begins to install some kind of update and after a few minutes an error box pops up that says it has encountered an "Error getting file security C:\users|samsung notebook\appdata]local\logos5\es-ES\logos.exe.mui GetLastError:5 I

  • Re: Indexer Crash on startup

The logs I uploaded WERE the ones that were generated immediately after the previous crash when I started Logos with the CTRL key held down. I don't know what happened, but when I just tried to start Logos again, the indexer started properly and now says it's 13% complete

  • Indexer Crash on startup

In the last day or two when I have started Logos 5 the indexer starts (as usual) and warns me it may slow down my computer, however after a few seconds I get an error that says the indexer has stopped working. I have created new log files and am uploading them. HELP!!!!!

  • Re: Closing Book in Ipad App

That's IT!! Thanks guys. I appreciate the help. I'm just getting used to an Ipad (This is being typed on my netbook) and all the touch and drag stuff is TOTALLY foreign to me. I'll keep at it tho. Thanks again.

  • Closing Book in Ipad App

I downloaded logos to my new (to me) Ipad today. I was reading a passage in the ESV and a commentary popped open on the right side of the screen. I don't know what I did to cause it to open and I don't know how to close it. HELP!!

  • Re: epub format??

Amazon has established their proprietary format for the Kindle (which is one reason I don't have one) but virtually all the other readers (including the IPad) will read the open epub format. There is even a way to convert epubs so Kindle will read them. (DRMs are a whole different issue) Virtually anything that's available from Amazon for Kindle is

  • Re: epub format??

I LOVE my Logos system. It does stuff for me in Bible study that nothing else can begin to approach. I am a Logos apostle trying to covert others to using their system. This Vyrso bookstore just doesn't make sense. If I had an IPad, or IPhone, etc. I could buy the epub version of these books and read them on that device without downloading the Logos

  • Re: epub format??

Exactly the point. I can already open and read any of my current Logos books on my desktop and/or laptop but the only way I can read them in my ebook reader is an extremely circuitous conversion that may or may not be 100% in accord with copyright laws. If Logos is only going to sell books through Vyrso that can be read inside the Logos software, why

  • epub format??

I use a Sony reader that likes the open epub format as well as anything in pdf. Will the new Vyrso books be in epub or only some dedicated format that can be read on an apple device? Anyone really know?

  • Re: Update Now NOT downloading 4.2

Thanks. This Laptop's Win7 has given me grief before with it's "ownership" issues. I had to tell it that _I_ owned the install msi file then it loaded up fine. Thanks for the lead on the setup.

Auto Updates & Use Internet are and have been checked. I did the "Update now" in the command and it returned that there were no new updates available. I'll leave the laptop on with Logos loaded for a bit and see if it decides to update on it's own.

  • Update Now NOT downloading 4.2

I just returned from Camp Logos II in Houston. (Mo did a GREAT job, as usual) When I returned this morning, my desktop has downloaded & installed 4.2 without any hassle. When I started the laptop this morning and did an "update now" it said that there were no new updates BUT when I check the version it says it's 4.1. Whadya think???
