While I'm happy for those who will benefit from a subscription plan, but this move will reduce demand for producing journals.
I had not thought of that but I'm not sure that is the case. If the subscription model takes off Faithlife should produce more journals to support it which should also benefit those who wish

Chock up another for the new context menu being my favourite feature. It just makes so much sense now and I use it often.

Jeffrey, I understand your desire to sell but just a gentle reminder that trying to sell anything through the forums is not allowed. See Forum Guidelines Point #4 - http://community.logos.com/forums/t/10072.aspx

  • Re: Kyle: type Bible Commentary rather than Monograph

I agree that this would be a good enhancement. My workaround for this has been to tag all of my resources like this as Bible Commentaries and by specific book so that they don't fall off the radar when I want to look at a specific passage.

Thanks for clarifying this Andrew. When I mentioned that the issue was "being addressed" I wasn't thinking that the problem was being actively pursued but rather that you at least knew that it existed and perhaps would some day be fixed. (I choose to be optimistic ) I trust Faithlife to prioritize how to allocate their limited resources to the issues

Tony, I use the read aloud feature a lot and have not experienced what you are describing. I'm on a PC so I'm not sure if that might make a difference. Does it happen in specific resources? Can the problem be reproduced? e.g. note where it happens. Close the resource then reopening it and try again at the same spot.

  • Re: Extra Line After Some Footnotes

Bradley, thanks for confirming that you are addressing this issue. It is not the end of the world to have an extra line here and there but it is sort of annoying. I've seen it in a number of resources for a long time. I used to report them as "typos" although I knew that it wasn't a typo. Finally I decided to create a post about this. I realized that

  • Re: Extra Line After Some Footnotes

Here are another couple of examples from the same chapter. I'm guessing that the footnote impinges on the margin which pushes the space to the next line. I realize that the footnote needs to stay with the word this it is referring to but I think that, in cases like this, the better behaviour would be to have the word with the footnote drop down to the

  • Extra Line After Some Footnotes

Okay, I've noticed this behaviour in Logos for some time in a number of Bibles. It is not a big thing but it bugs me because I see it so often. Occasional I've reported it as a typo as it doesn't appear correctly to me. It seems to only happen after a footnote at the end of a line when the text is in narrower margins. Below is an example from the NET

John Stott has written a lot of great books but this book is one of my favouite and was the last one he wrote. It is a short volume packed with powerful truths about discipleship. I have a physical copy but am now thankful for a digital copy - and especially that it is free today. Thanks Faithlife! https://ebooks.faithlife.com/product/167186/the-radical
