• Re: Are personal books backed up by Logos?

Thanks Mark, that is helpful. I can imagine that this would be a major project for Logos.

  • Re: Are personal books backed up by Logos?

I thought I read somewhere that was the case. Does anyone have a rough estimate when this might be? In the meantime can someone explain the best way to back up personal books until Logos allows them to sync?

  • Are personal books backed up by Logos?

I've done a bit of searching on this topic and I'm not quite sure of the answer. Are personal books backed up by Logos?

  • Tagging Suggestions

I was just doing some research on what suggestions where on the forums for tagging and came across a great suggestion from Frank Fenby in May 2011. I relied to the post today but realized that it was in Logos 4 so I decided to resurrect the discussion here. Here is what he posted: Here is my tagging system. Some day soon, Lord willing, I will produce

I think that their time clock is more related to a marketing strategy.

  • Re: SOLID STATE HARDRIVE MEMORY: LOGOS?

I read this thread with interest because I also have a Lenovo T520 with a solid state drive and I can't believe the difference it makes in performance - especially indexing. I'm only using 160 GB of my drive now with over 5,000 resources. I think you are going to be pleased with it Joseph.

I received the NA 28 when I upgraded to Logos 5. It currently is in the Platinum and up packages but it doesn't seem to be available individually yet. At least I can't find it in a search.

Wow, that's strange. Maybe it is part of Black Friday.

  • Re: Customize Your Upgrade

I already upgraded to L5 and somehow missed the AYBD on sale for $154. So I tried what others suggested and went to the upgrade page and chose AYBD and the price listed for me was $269.95 I was hoping that may work but I guess not for me.
It is very good to see the AYBD on offer... I don't recall seeing this discounted before.
I agree. It is tempting. Can someone who has this resource give me an evaluation of it? How often do you use it? Do you find you refer to it a lot of does it sit among your resources as something that you seldom use?

I'm not a big fan of the new white logo but I guess I will just have to get used to it.

Jacob, thanks for sharing your situation. It is easy for all of us to get so caught up with books and life in general that we actually don't get into the Word ourselves. I feel this temptation too. My recommendation is to focus on a book from the Bible. Pour yourself into it using many of the great Logos tools and allow God to touch your life through

Okay, it works now. I guess that it just took a long time to index the whole Bible. Thanks for your help.

  • Re: Identifying "type" of Personal Book

I have now waited long enough that the book should have indexed but it still is not seeing the type:Bible in my collection - Frustrating! I wonder if this is a bug or at least it is a weakness of L5. I think someone should be able to change the type after it is created.

Okay, since Mark said I did it incorrectly I deleted the Bible and then added it again, this time identifying it as type: Bible. Unfortunately it still doesn't show up in my collection of bibles that is identified as type: Bible.
