Graham, that post does clarify this issue for me. Many thanks!

  • Re: Resource ranking

Kevin, thank you for your reply. However, I already know about the "star rating" that can be applied to a resource. In my original post I specifically referred to the numerical "rank" that a resource has. This appears in the the library details view. For example, when a subject or topic is entered in the search bar, all the resources that have to do

  • Resource ranking

I have just been told that the individual ranking of resources in the library cannot be changed. It seems to me that if we have the ability to sort resources by ranking, we should also be able to change those rankings. I don't know why this feature has not been incorporated. Also, does anyone know, how the rank of individual resources is determined

  • Re: red highlight of unknown origins

Mark, thanks for that tip. That took care of it. Now that leads me to wonder what open panel it was linking to. I know that you can't answer that for me. So, I'll look around and try to figure that one out. Thanks again.

  • Re: red highlight of unknown origins

Thanks Francis. I tried that, but there isn't a menu option for "open annotation" available when I did. Also, there aren't any open searches. I'll keep looking around for something, but haven't found anything yet. Also, I opened this passage in other translations of the Bible and this red highlight doesn't appear in anything else.

  • red highlight of unknown origins

OK, as I was reading through a portion of the scriptures I noticed a block of text with a red highlight over it. I cannot find the origins of this highlight as it is not a block that I have purposely highlighted. I have checked visual filters, notes, links, etc. and I cannot determine why this segment of text is highlighted. I include a screen grab

  • Re: Concern about future upgrades

I for one agree with what Rene and Denise have said. Logos is the only application I use that by default uses the cloud. I have intentionally steered away from that with other software. For many things, I do bring some slight "inconveniences" upon myself because of this, but to me that is something I'll put up with in trade for some peace of mind concerning

  • Re: guia de pasaje

Tom, I have my spanish Bibles prioritized first, starting with the RV1909. However, just now I opened up LOGOS without connecting to the internet and the topic there at the top of the Pasage Guide list was in spanish. So, at this point its setup the way I want. Not sure if this has to do with the fact that LOGOS didn't connect and download the settings

Delete /Users/user/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/hu6h22kh.ml6/HistoryManager/history.db Dave, It seems that Logos rebuilt that file after I deleted it and restarted Logos. Is this normal? Greg

Thanks 94948, I appreciate it. However, I have already taken care of that. Have the preferences set to show all hidden folders and files as a default. Greg

  • Re: Bug: Spinning-sync-wheel crash on Mac

Armin, I have been experiencing the same thing for quite some time now. I too have posted logs and sent some attached to an email to the LOGOS tech support. Haven't heard anything yet. At first I thought that Logos may not like synching behind an anonymous proxy, so I stopped using my proxy app when using Logos. This didn't help. I get the same problem

Hello. I sent logs to logos tech support concerning this problem. I have not heard anything from anybody and this problem is still continuing to be an issue.Just this morning, I opened LOGOS without anything else running in the background. After 30 minutes of continual synching and my fan on the Macbook Pro running full speed, I had to "force quit"

  • Re: LOGOS 5 hangs during synchronization

Thanks for the reply. Here is the latest log that I just saved, after recreating the problem. I'll keep in mind about the "sleep" issue. I normally don't have network issues. Often this happens while I am using Firefox, and I-Tunes at the same time. Those apps are on my home network running fine in the background. Thanks again. Gregory

  • LOGOS 5 hangs during synchronization

Hello all, hope that each of you had a blessed Christmas. Over the last couple of months, LOGOS has become unstable. I run LOGOS on a Macbook Pro running OS X 10.6.8. I have LOGOS 5.2 SR-3 on this machine. It happens frequently, that while I am using LOGOS, the spinning arrows in the upper right corner spin constantly and my machines fan began whirring

  • Re: Pauline studies bundles...book suggestion

Mick, Yes. This is what I am looking for. However, if I understand the method for turning it into a Personal Resource, I don't think that I will be able to. I don't have any software that can accurately convert the PDF into a .doc file which I then can save as a .docx file. Thank you for your response and for showing me where I could get a PDF version

  • Pauline studies bundles...book suggestion

After looking over the available bundles concerning Pauline Studies, I have a suggestion to make. One work that is missing from all of the available bundles, which I happen to believe should be included ( I dare say it should be required reading by all missions students) is William M. Taylor's "Paul the Missionary". This work was originally published

Mike, thanks for the response and the fix. I was able to download this product finally. I appreciate the Logos support staff working this out. I was getting concerned that I wouldn't be able to make purchases in the near future. Blessings! Gregory
