  • Re: E G White Writings

I done it the hard way and don't know of any other way. First, I typed "seventh-day" and that got me all of my commentaries and other books which I dragged over to the collection and then I searched for "white" and that gave me even more. I ended up with 420 in the collection. I wish there was an easy way, there might be but I don't know it. Rick

PeterLi you stole my thunder I was basically going to say that it is an excellent resurce but as with any kind of commentary or such you may have disagreements with it, but at least it does give you possible solutions. Rick

  • Re: new books

This happened to me once. Do you have Logos 3 on your computer? I would try this first though: Open Logos 4 and in the command line type "Update Now" and if that does not get them for you try typing "Update Resources". I have a feeling that the files you downloaded were maybe for Logos version 3. Rick

  • Re: Using Libronix/eBible books with Logos 4.0

I have done it very recently with a book that I purchased in Logos 3 format. It worked pretty easily for me.

Did it install Logos 3 on your computer? If so, open up Logos 3 and go to "tools" > Synchronize Licensees. Once this is done, Open Logos 4 and in the command box type "Update Now" and/or "Update Resources. That should get you going. Rick

  • Re: Anybody else NOT having problems with SR-1/SR-2?

I upgraded to SR-1 and then to SR-2 on both my laptop and Home PC. No problems what so ever with the exception that the home PC. Logos 4 quit responding and closed but the update continued to run and update so I did not touch it or cancel the process. After that, the index and everything went as planned and Logos 4 opened and operated as advertised

  • Re: To the creator of Covering of the Head on topics.logos.com

Thanks! I went ahead and removed the non-speciffic web site as well. Thought about it and it does make sense. I was only pointing people there if they wanted to ask questions about it, but it might also get them waaaay off topic with other subjects. Thanks again. I too plan on working on it more as time is available.

  • Re: User Books

Logos also has an easy payment schedule. I upgraded to Scholar's from Leaders this way. I think that Scholars is plenty for me, since I am neither a leader or a scholar, just fascinated by our God and doing my best to study Him! http://www.logos.com/paymentplan God bless you for your faithfulness in carrying out his will.

Thanks so much Kevin! I had seen the setting but was not smart enough to relate it to what it does. Usually I don't touch anything unless I know exactly what it does. >

Have any of the updates lately enabled us to do this yet? If so, can you help clue me in?

  • Re: Is it me, or does the indexer have a lower CPU priority now?

If in the future you have problems or simply want to change its priority, open your task manager, find Logos Indexer and right click. You will be able to set its priority here. I like giving it a higher priority so it will hurry up and get done!

  • Re: Compare Bible Versions In Passage Guide

This is how it worked in Logos 3 and it seems to be basically the same in version 4. I hope this is what you were asking for http://www.logos.com/media/tutorials/lbs3/ParallelBibles.html Edited to say that about 1/2 way through the video is where it talks about compare versions.

  • Re: Payment Plan Question

Thanks David, I had wondered about that but did not want to aggravate folks by asking again. So, as I understand it, let's say that I pay it off in March. The $5 fee applies to Dec-March payments and the payoff does not include the $5 fee for the remaining months that I normally would have paid. Awesome! Thanks again to all of you who replied! I went

  • Payment Plan Question

I currently have Logos 4 Leader's plus a few extra that I have purchased. I'm looking at Scholar's and would like to start out on the payment plan while the holiday prices are in effect. Within a few months I'll have some overtime at work and will be able to pay off the remaining in full or at least knock out a big dent of it. If I call a sales rep

  • Will Logos 4 Notes Importer Overwrite Notes in L4

Hi, Has anyone heard whether or not if the L4 notes importer (when released) will overwrite current notes in version 4? I have been switching back and forth between versions 3 and 4, making all notes in v3 in fear of an overwrite when the importer is released. Thanks.

  • Re: I hope I have read this upgrade message wrong

I think that what Logos is referring to is a discount to your upgrade price. If you go to wwwlogos.com, sign in and hit the upgrade now button you will see your current version and the rest of the packages. If you notice there are three prices (1) Retail price (2) Upgrade price and finally (3) Your price. I would think that the third option is simply
