• Re: Possible iOS 10 bug - Library

I closed the app and re-opened and the non-local books appeared and Bible Word Study functioned again. Hopefully, someone else will find my published ignorance here helpful.

  • Re: Possible iOS 10 bug - Library

I just started using an iPad4 with Logos. I am having the same problem. It happens when I leave the wifi area and come back or move to a different wifi area. Is there a way, besides restarting, to get the app to refresh its wifi connection?

I was trying to do the same thing. Surprised there were never any responses to this post. I closed the search window and the highlighting disappeared. But it would be nice to be able to leave it open to access multiple hits without closing the Search window. Greg

  • Underline in Visual Copy?

I am trying to figure out how to underline a word, or words, in Visual Copy before pasting it into my slide program (not PowerPoint). I don't see any of the formatting icons like I do when I am composing this post. Standard HTML commands ( __ doesn't create an underline. Is it possible to do? Greg

  • Re: Official: Minimum Crossgrade and free engine download are coming!

Bob I think the fact that I can access my library (with the understandable license restrictions imposed on Logos) from my Android phone (or iPhone, if you are into that kind of thing) and not pay a dime more speaks volumes of Logos support for their existing customer base. I understand that the data sets represent content not software. These and the

I'm in. I hope this gets to 100% quickly. Someone was telling me about the Waldensians last month and it piqued my interest. Hopefully, I won't have to wait long. Greg

  • Re: Bible Knowledge Commentary

The New Bible Commentary is available for download if you have that. It is comparable to the Bible Knowledge Commentary in that it is one volume from a conservative evangelical viewpoint. I prefer it to the Bible Knowledge Commentary. I got it as part of the Essential IVP Reference collection. This is a really nice bundle that is available through a

I have a Samsung Captivate. My wife has an iPhone. I like my screen better. Hers may have a higher resolution, but mine is brighter and the colors crisper. In bright sunlight, mine is easier to read than the iPhone. I on Verizon. I use a 250MB plan for $15/month. I download programs, updates and resources using wi-fi when I am at home. My data plan
If you check the program settings there are a couple of different transliteration schemes available. The one you are describing is the Beta code scheme. If you change it to the SBL Greek scheme it'll be more like what you're used to.
Thanks. I found it under Tools/Program Settings/ Transliteration Format. That did

  • bad characters in greek transliteration in interlinear

I am getting a ")" as a transliteration for a diacritic mark over a vowel. It comes right after the vowel in the transliteration. I don't remember this in the past. Is it supposed to be this way? Does anyone else have this problem? (I don't regard it as a "feature"). Greg
Thanks for the various responses - all very helpful. I see you used your SSD as a second drive rather than primary for the OS? Any particular reason for that choice?
First, I am not positive that my setup is the ideal setup and maybe someone else can speak to that. I got a motherboard that had the Sandy Bridge chipset
Laptop? Better make sure you get an SATA II (3.0 GB/s) and not an SATA III (6.0 GB/s). It is sometimes hard to find the fine print that tells you that, and more and more are SATA III. Unless your laptop is extremely new, I doubt seriously it has support for SATA III.
My laptop main hard drive has gone bang. It has (had) 2 x 320GB drives (5400rpm) so I am considering whether to buy a 7200RPM drive for the system drive or an SSD. There are a whole load of makes of SSD out there - can anyone suggest which manufacturers/models are better than others? I think I could so with 64GB but may

  • Re: SBL Greek New Testament download
Try deleting your cache and then restarting the app. Generally this is due to a licensing issue. If that doesn't work, try deleting your local data (note that you'll have to re-download all of the books you have currently downloaded) and restarting the app. Thanks,
Deleting the cache didn't do it, but deleting
I've a question. When invoking a "Bible Word Study" on a NT word (e.g. ESV reverse interlinear), we get the translation in the NT based on the default Bible (which can be user defined). However, there's no choice for selection for the Septuagint translation. For example, I would like to use the Lexham Greek-English Interlinear as
