Add full bibliographic information to clippings, to make them useful for researching. See thread .
I appreciate that to sell upgrades to Logos 9 you need something new, but I don't think that's what Logos needs right now. My focus would be on consolidating datasets and tools and improving existing features.
Amen!

  • Word study notes not anchored to lemma

It's a while ago I created some word study notes on certain Greek / Hebrew words. These notes were anchored to the Greek/Hebrew lemma and if I remember well, then the note indicator would appear everywhere that lemma would occur, no matter what form. Now it seems that the note indicators do not appear where they are anchored. E.g. Reading John 8:4 in

  • Mobile tagging of resources in library

I recently discovered that you now can add tags to notes on your mobile device, which is absolutely great. On the other hand, tagging resources in the library still doesn't seem to be possible. After reading a book on my tablet, I love to add a few relevant tags to that resource, for which I now have to turn to my computer. Will this feature - tagging

  • Clippings and Footnotes

Since clippings are primarily meant (according to Morris Proctor) for quotes to find its way into a paper, I'm a bit surprised to see that when you copy from a clipping and paste it into your Word-paper, it does not come with a bibliographic footnote. Any reasons? Any thoughts?

  • BUG? Replace with current layout doesn't make it to the Go Box

If you type a reference in the Go Box, you get a chance to 'Open Passage Study Layout to #'. This is a great feature, but it would be even greater if you could customize this layout. Now it is possible to open that passage study layout, adjust the layout according to your own preferences, then in the Layouts menu go to Quickstart Layouts, locate the

I would love to get inspired by your most popular layouts. Would you please share a screenshot of some of your popular layouts? Thanks!

  • Re: BUG: Lemma in Passage doesn't work

Thanks Rick, Fortunately, it does work as it should now. Unfortunately, I can't tell what caused the issue, but it is quite likely that my internet connection was the trouble maker. I was online at the time, but sometimes the connection is unstable. Thanks for looking into it, though!

  • BUG: Lemma in Passage doesn't work

It seems the Lemma in Passage feature is not working properly in Logos 8.8. Attached is a gif to see it in action.
Does it have a reference box, where you input dictionary words?
Yes, it does. And it even has the other resources as parallel resources!
Right click it, select "Set prioritization.....(advanced)" and select Bible as shown above. Now, it won't respond to headwords. You might do the same with the 2x UBSH resources, if they are also versified.
Thanks, Dave, I was indeed troubled by that as well ;-).

  • Re: Prioritized resource is ignored
The prioritization should work. The dictionary doesn't appear to have a Reference box and/or there may be an indexing issue. Hide the dictionary , restart Logos, and then unhide it. It should re-download. If it doesn't index, type reindex All Nations Dictionary in the Command/GO box and hit Enter.
I did both things

  • Re: Prioritized resource is ignored

Yes, it has the English headwords indexing scheme, and the word parable is also a headword.

  • Prioritized resource is ignored

For training purposes I have prioritized the resources below. So, when I right-click on an English word, like parable (in Matthew 13:31 NIV), I would expect the All Nations Dictionary to be given as an option under Look Up. However, that resource is ignored in the Look Up section, even though it has an English Headwords indexing scheme. What is wrong

  • Finding all and only free books that you do not own

Is there a way I can manipulate the address when I browse books on the Logos website? For example: https://www.logos.com/search?sortBy=PriceLow&limit=60&page=1&ownership=all Can I manipulate this in such a way that I get: - only books for with a price of USD 0 - only books that I do not own yet Is there a list available with operators to

  • Re: Suggestions for the context-menu
As stated above, those features depend entirely on how you prioritize your versified resources. If you prioritize as above, there is no room for a bible on the Context Menu. And if you want to go to any of your 5 commentaries, there won't be room for any other books! From one commentary, you can use Parallel Resources to access

  • Suggestions for the context-menu

Background Very ironically I was watching a Morris Proctor tutorial on 'High Five Versified Prioritized' which is simply amazing. It shows how you can right-click in a Bible verse and from the context-menu directly open: - an apparatus on that passage - the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge on that passage - harmonies on that passage - cultural background
