Is there a shortcut key to refocus the screen so that the selected reference jumps to the top of the screen?

  • Re: Adding a note from context menu opens up a new panel every time

I might have expressed myself not clearly enough. I was referring to the following situation: open e.g. the NIV open Notebook X Okay, note that you have Notebook X already open. Now right-click on a verse in the open NIV; Expand the 'Take a Note' if that's not expanded yet; Click 'Notebook X' What I would expect, is that the already open (!) Notebook

  • Adding a note from context menu opens up a new panel every time

Studying 2 Corinthians 1:2 from any translation I add a note to 'Notebook X,' anchored to that reference. Moving to the next verse I want to add another note to the same 'Notebook X' through the context menu. The result is that a new panel opens, every time I want to add a note even to the same 'Notebook X.' After having added notes to multiple verses
In general, the Loebs are better formatted and include the short introductory material, indexes and maps that the Perseus volumes leave out. Keep in mind however, that the Perseus texts are based on the same out-of-copyrigh Loeb editions. There is a lot of overlap, so if you just want the text and don't want to spend money on the

  • Re: Missing morph tagging in new Loeb volumes

Interesting! However, I would like to know how to go about if I have somebody / a team that would occasionally work on morphological tagging for Logos on Greek resources that we are actually using. Any thoughts?
Is this the Iliad text you used ? That one happens to be the only non-Bible-related Greek text I'm aware of that has complete morphological tagging done by a human being, which explains why you were finding precise morphological information and not just a list of different possibilities as per Augustine's Confessions.
Loeb is better for tagging. Perseus is free.
In what way(s) to make it worth purchasing for somebody who uses Classics a lot?

No worries, Gary, I may have been too quick in my feelings. I hope you'll get a good 2%! ;)

It is indeed currently a benefit of the Connect subscription, but I think that hasn't been the case from the beginning. They have been adding this benefit to the subscription at no cost, so I see that as a gift.
the lecture implying otherwise (...) Not being God and knowing everyone's motivation for asking so-called "senseless inquiries" can lead to bad misjudgments. Just sayin'...
Hi Gary, It was not my intention to target anybody in particular. It came from a gut feeling that I have also experienced in other contexts.

Logos is pretty generous with their giving away of credits (e.g. birthday, this 2%, but there are a few other occasions as well where they will give you a coupon). For sure with respect to the birthday gift I don't think that we can say that we own the right to get this birthday gift, as it is a nice voluntary gesture by Logos, and they have the right

  • using bookmarks

Is there a way to add your own bookmarks to your resources in Logos? Here is a scenario where it would come in handy: I am reading a resource, but then I use the same resource as a reference book (taking me to different other parts of the book), then (might be a few hours / days later) I want to return to where I stopped reading. I do realize that Logos

  • downloading resources for mobile

On the desktop we have the option of scanning a certain folder to get the resources into your Logos (rather than downloading them from the Internet). Is such an option available for mobile? Or, if I have one mobile device with my resources, is there any way to share those resources with another device without downloading them again?
