  • Searching from basic everything search not searching notes

Hi, is there a problem with searching notes from the basic / everything within Logos? If I do a search for something I know is in my notes using the basic search with search for everything selected it does not come back with it in the results (I search from within the notes and all is fine). Any thoughts? Blessings Mark

  • highlighting in personal books

Hi All, does anyone know what happens if you modify a personal book that you have got lots of personal highlights in it. do you lose the highlights? I have tried a test version with a book and it seems to keep them. However I want change (add a couple sections) to book that I have put considerable number of highlights but don't want to lose the highlights

Hi All, my Logos crashed earlier today and when I started it up again some of my personal books were missing from the personal list but are in the main Library - which seems really strange. When I try openning them ithey open fine. Has anyone had this happen to them and if so what is the solution? One particular book I am trying to re-compile (but obviously

hi Adam, yes some really good answers (thanks everyone). The main use for me is is visual (how my brain works!!). when am preparing a sermon / talk etc it really helps to see everything in a list and pick the book, this is especially so as I get use to certain volumes, the book itself is a reminder. • Listing Commentaries by Bible

Hi All, when I had paper books on my shelf (remember them!?) I had all my books stored in book order ie all my Genesis Commentaries together, all my John commentaries together etc etc etc. Is there a way to list them like this in Logos? Preferably in Biblical Book order. Blessings Mark

  • Re: Converting Greek Text in personal books

Thanks for this Bernhard, I have tried using ABBY (although a fairly old version v6) and doesn't seem to give very good results. I have also tried Paperport PDF converter (which was the version that I uploaded). I have also tried Adobe's PDF Editor for the Mac (also not very good results). I have tried it with Greek and English languages (also tried

  • Re: Personal Books and images

HI Graham, bless you that works perfectly. It appears that if you drag and drop the image file onto the Word Document without using the insert pictures option it doesn't format them properly. I have tried it with all my images by importing them using the insert pictures and all works great. Thank you. Thanks for your comments too Bernhard. Blessings
