  • Re: Audio not playing from Recordings Screen

Jordan, That presentation was "2017-01-22 Sunday". Please don't spend much time on this issue until I recheck everything from this end; it could easily be a hardware failure, or just a stupid error on my part. I think ground lift problems sometimes present themselves in much the same way.

Our recording for this Sunday was very poor quality as well. I normally record the entire service, including the praise and worship music, but had to dump everything but the sermon this week due to the poor quality of the recording. I had assumed that it was something that I did wrong, but I hadn't changed anything since the week before when it worked

Scott, I have another update on the crash I am experiencing, and apparently I gave you some bad information last week. But we experienced the crash this morning while on-air, without AirPlay or Apple TV. This time I had the MacBook connected directly to the projector. And since I wasn't using AirPlay, I had added motion elements to the presentation

Scott, Yes, Airplay to Apple TV is our normal workflow. And I am sure that my on-air crashes only occur when Airplay is running. I determined months ago that AirPlay disconnects and Proclaim crashes primarily occurred when I had included video elements in my presentations. On those rare Sunday's when the pastor wants a Youtube video, or other video

Scott, I decided to continue testing my "2017-01-17 Sunday" presentation, the one loaded with video elements, on the current production version of the Proclaim app. I went on-air using the production version with AirPlay and Apple TV. The production copy didn't produce a hard crash crash this time, like the custom Beta copy did. But the AirPlay connection

Scott, This crashed a few minutes after going on-air. I copied my presentation from last Sunday, then edited it to include a bunch of video elements in the pre-service loop, and service sections; presentation name is "2017-01-22 Sunday". I connected via AirPlay to my Apple TV and went on-air. The presentation cycled through the pre-service loop for

Thanks Jordan. The update showed up sometime on Saturday and worked well for Sunday services.

Scott, I don't remember when I updated to 10.12 so I can't really answer. I can tell you that I have been avoiding video elements since June or July. I had been experiencing periodic crashing for several months prior while still using video elements. The crashing ceased when I completely eliminated them from my presentations in August.

Twin Towers Music, I am not part of the Proclaim tech support crew, but am a network and computer specialist and can speak with some degree of expertise. It sounds like you are meeting in a rented space and using the network provided by the landlord much like we do. Most guest networks isolate connected devices so they cannot see each other. This could

Scott, I have tested your theory using video serse-of-the-day elements extensively, with inconsistent results. I disabled the local WIFI remote and tested on-air for hours without crashing. Then I re-enabled the local WIFI remote to confirm that it was the cause of the crash. But it did not crash; it ran on-air for hours without any problem. I even

  • Re: Can we have the old remote layout back?

I like the new layout. More importantly, the young lady that runs our slides likes it! The previews are small, especially on an iPhone, but just fine on the iPad.

Glenn, Jeremy is describing the same condition that I have reported on several different occasions where I have provided logs and screen shots. It consistently occurs when the local WIFI remote is attempted using an iPad 2 with iOS 9.3.5, but works correctly using my iPhone 6 with iOS 10.2. It also works correctly using a newer iPad Air with iOS 10

Scott, There is no hurry. I have been doing without video elements for awhile. They are cool, but not essential. I will test your theory when I can. i hope you and the entire Proclaim team have a merry Christmas and enjoy your time with family, away from the office.

I just loaded a pre-service loop with video's from the verse-of-the-day collection to test the stability of release 2.0. It crashed after just a few minutes after going on-air. I haven't been able to use any videos in the pre-service loop, or motion backgrounds in any service elements for a long time. The presentation I used in 2017-01-01 Sunday. I

  • Re: Computer setups

We went Mac and have not regretted it. Our setup is nearly identical to that of Mike Binks; MacBook Pro Retina, Apple TV, Airport Express, several PowerLine Network adapters, and iPads and/or iPhone for remote control. I use the iPads for remote control of our QSC16 sound board as well. We rent a space, so everything goes up before service and then

  • Re: Local Remote Still Unstable

The local remote has been very stable for us using an iPhone 6 with the latest iOS update. We did need to re-enforce our network/WIFI using several powerline network adapters. These appliances allow us to get both wired network and WIFI signals right where we need them. We worship in a rented space and don't have the luxury of running custom Cat5 cabling

Sorry if I breech protocol, I'm not sure where to put this. I would like to see the record level meter added to the remote control screens. I operate both the sound board and Proclaim (running on a MacBook) remotely using an iPad. We also record our sermons using the fantastic Proclaim record feature and need a way to set the record level without making

  • Crash when importing video file.

I haven't included any video elements in a long time, but the pastor wanted a youtube video this morning. I saved the video to my local drive using the KeepVid site on the internet and verified that the file would play. But using the new Proclaim 2.0 release, our MacBook would crash instantly when I clicked the import button to attach the video to the

  • Re: Video's crashing Mac in Release 2

I believe the crash is restricted to the Proclaim application. The MacBook is not rebooting, or shutting down. At some point after going on-air with video elements in the presentation, the Proclaim application just shuts off and disappears, leaving a crash log behind. I usually take the precaution of re-starting the Mac after this happens, but it does
