1.) Search for {Speaker <Person God>} OR {Speaker <Person Angel of the Lord>} OR {Speaker <Person An Angel>} 2.) I am not sure how to fix the issue with the Bible Browser. Can you post logs?

  • Digital Church Library

The Digital Church Library looks cool, but I am reluctant to promote it through June without some idea of what it will cost when the free term expires. Can anyone point me toward the pricing structure?

I am bumping, hoping someone else can verify that they are not able to access this data via search either, although it is obviously tagged.

  • Bug: Sense Search in DSS

If I right click on a word in the Lexham DSS, they are tagged with sense information, but a search for that same sense shows no results. I cannot find a sense search that works.

The Lexham Press DSS have sense tagging, so you ought to be able to search with that, but it does not seem to be working. I will post a bug report.

  • Re: Finding ALL references to Christians in the NT

I can see your frustration. But there is also no search term for Trinity. You would have to search for the Father, Son and Spirit separately. To block together all possible terms for Christians involves a lot more individual judgment calls than most sense searches, in addition to being labor intensive.

  • Re: Finding ALL references to Christians in the NT

Unfortunately, I do not think there is any simple search that would group all of those diverse headings together. Neither the Bible Sense Lexicon nor Louw-Nida group those terms, unless someone knows of a book that handles it, you will need to look manually.

Bump, because the letters feature is way too thin to be useful and any system to fill it out is worthwhile.

  • Re: New Authors: Self-publishing

Count me on the other side of this. I think that, if this is done, those resources should be treated like Faithlife Ebooks, and upgrade to Logos format if a book is demonstrating value by selling well. I would hate to pay the price for a Logos book and then find out it was poor quality. I want to trust the resources I get from Logos will be of a certain

  • Re: What's the most effective way to search for a combination of words in the original language?

Bible Word Studies need to be done on individual words and do not work with phrases. For your search, the NEAR operator is the simplest solution, but you could also use WITHIN n WORDS. <Lemma = lbs/el/ζάω> WITHIN 5 WORDS <Lemma = lbs/el/ὕδωρ> The simplest way to get to right format is to right-click the word you

OBS is what I use. I have a camera layer and a Logos Window Capture Layer (and a proclaim layer, with a green chromakey). It is very straightforward.

The books which I have that are returning results are things like "1500 illustrations for Biblical Preaching." Other than "Feathers for Arrows," every resource I am getting has Illustrations in its title. Do you have any of those kinds of resources?

  • Re: Best Method - Guides, Tools, etc

These are all great resources. For studying a topic, consider the topic guide as increasingly deprecated. I would either use the Factbook (which will pull from Nave and other resources) or the workflow, depending on how much handholding you want. Tha passage list is a good place to store your own research, but is not very helpful for beginning a study

With OBS (free): Add a lower thirds slide to Proclaim. Set the transparency color in Proclaim to green. Add a Proclaim window capture to OBS over your video device. Right click the Proclaim layer in OBS, click filters and add a chromakey. Select "Green" and wiggle the sensitivity, bleedthrough and opacity bars until you like it. To display on your screens
