• Re: Saving a blog post to Logos??
The best way is actually to turn them into a PBB (perzonal book in docx format that can be compiled to Logos books.) If you put it there, many verses will be automatically parsed, meaning that when you hover/click you can see the verse and more importantly you can perform search and for example ask which blog posts has references

  • Re: pictures

It is kind of quirky. If you right click on it and select "Tabernacle (Thing)" and click " Factbook " it will bring up media related to the Tabernacle, events involving the tabernacle, dictionary entries, etc. I understand you might want a media search right in the menu, but this is the two step solution as the software exists.

  • Re: Cannot Export Sermon Slides to Proclaim

I first noticed it two weeks ago, but it has never started working again. I paused my antivirus to see if that was the issue, and tried it on different machines. Everything will sync with Logos, but I cannot send to Proclaim. "Sorry! An error was encountered. Please check your internet connection and try again."

Here is a visual filter that will put a red box when the root word is phileo, and put a yellow highlight with a red heart when it is agape. Storge gets a green highlight for the sake of completeness, although it does not occur in Titus. You can download the document and then find it under docs to see how I did it. It is currently only set to Titus,

  • Cannot Export Sermon Slides to Proclaim

Attempting to end my sermon slides to Proclaim gives an error message about being unable to contact the server, and telling me to check my internet connection. Everything else is working normally and no error logs are generated.

  • Re: March Madness is rigged

Since the NT is so well covered by the base packages, I was hoping the OT would do better. I do not think people really choose rationally.

  • Re: 2% Reward?
Is there any way to calculate or guess how much a certain item weighs monetarily in a base package? Take Platinum and BDAG. How discounted is BDAG in that package? I don't dabble in the original languages much so most of that package is useless to me from what I can tell. Thanks in advance
It used to be a straight percentage

  • Re: OT: Narthex vs Vestibule
Denise, Expanding your semantic range to include terms that may be used in other Christian meeting places gives hints at what the "vestibule" may now be called in other congregations.
I bet if you clicked "case insensitive," foyer and lobby would be off the charts.

  • Re: "But" bible

Logos is really not the best tool to do this. Instead, you want to find a Word doc of the KJV online, and use find and replace to find "but" and replace it as "but" with the desired formatting. Then you can format the whole document to have it printed and bound.

That is a really cool idea.

  • Re: Logos, this is really driving me nuts!!!!!!

That is weird. If I have a workflow open, and change to another tab (where the workflow disappears), my workflow is scrolled to the bottom when I go back. The sections are all opened and closed appropriately, but I do have to scroll back up. Is that the same issue you are describing?

  • Re: "In the Likeness of God" disappeared

I see it was originally released in August of 2004. Maybe they are pulling it in preparation for a 15th anniversary edition.

  • Re: Location of mobile Ed media

I do not think Logos has a way to do it, but you could store the videos on your HDD and create a symlink on the SSD. Symlinks work like shortcuts, so Logos would open C:/Logos/coolvideo.mp4 and your computer would automatically convert that to D:/Logos/coolvideo.mp4. It is not ideal (I wish Logos handled this gracefully, especially since split drives

  • Re: Search question

I think this is exactly what the concordance tool was built for. Just build one for a Bible by lemma and look at low frequency words.

  • Re: FL Connect Terms of Service

The Terms of Service will be updated on the Terms of Service page. So if they changed the state where disputes would be arbitrated or whatever, that would be updated on the ToS. They do not treat the benefits, pricing, etc. as terms of service, so those kinds of things were never on that page and therefore that page is not updated.

Personally, I'm not very excited about losing the value of owning the 12 Original books a year. I don't think that +2 Classing books and a 25% coupon is equivalent to the same value. I would understand if FL stops producing Originals.
Thanks Ben for answering! I’m with Andrew

  • Re: Workflow Crash on Passages that Extend Book Boundaries

I obviously do not have your custom workflow, but I do not have the same problem with the default Expository Sermon workflow. Do the provided workflows also crash for you with that passage range?
I'm just not very much sold on the idea of a Faithlife Group. If I'm right, it's essentially Faithlife's attempt at Social media. How successful is it? Which would get better exposure, a Faithlife Group or Facebook Group? Which would be more logical? Everybody, it seems, is on Facebook constantly.
Facebook would
