A laptop comparable to a desktop is going to always be In my church office, My desktop i5 has a passmark score of 7392. An $1100 Dell has one of 6838, I have a Dell desktop (Inspiron 3668) with an i5-7400 in it, 12 GB of RAM and a SSD. Assuming (incorrectly) that all other components are equal (although not counting the cost of second monitor), you
LapTop vs Desk top also? I can go either way.
I know this is too late for the OP, but since this thread has come back from the grave, let me point out something I don't see mentioned before. If you don't care one way or the other, a desktop is unbelievably more powerful than a comparably priced laptop. The way that they

  • Re: Hebrew translation question: Forty or four?

I am sorry, I did not look closely enough before. I am not sure. A Bible search for the phrase with the singular shows no results and a search in my considerable library turns up only the result you are posting. I think it may just be a typo in DBL.

  • Re: Hebrew translation question: Forty or four?

When it is singular it is four and when it is plural (like in your text) it is 40. So arba is 4, but arbaim is 40.

  • Re: Is Logos 8 coming out soon?

Prognostication: Not only will it be released soon, but NICNT will be in a base package, or they never would have run all these steep sales.

  • Re: Guilt by Association

Mark, how is the second definition substantially different from corporate responsibility? Everyone bears judicial guilt because of their association with someone else.

Try this search out: (community, association, corporate) AND (responsibility, guilt) This article may be interesting and helpful to you. (See also this journal article or this section in Goldingay's OT Theology.)

Deuteronomy 21:1-9 comes to mind, but I do not see any way to find it with a search. NTSK links from there to Deuteronomy 19:12-13, another place where the community bears guilt. From there, a number of references pop up, which you could keep chasing. 1 Kings 2:31, Numbers 35:33 and 2 Samuel 21:1.

  • Background Color

Is there a way to make the transparent color a local setting? We run Proclaim on two computers in our service, one that streams our video feed with a chroma key and one that runs the projection screens. I want the projection screens to stay black, and the computer screen to stay green. If there is a better way to do this than run two presentations

  • Re: Creating a New Series of Commentaries

You can see the problem with being in 2 series. If I am in WBC on Numbers and go to Isaiah, should the software take me to Isaiah in WBC (because it is the same series) or NICOT (because it is in my super series)? Logos has no way to resolve the ambiguity, without destroying the convenience you were looking for in the first place.

  • Re: Thoughts on Individual NICOT/NICOT Volumes

Just to comment on the few that stand out to me. The Isaiah commentaries are like reading the most profound, yet heart warming, devotionals in the world. John is very good, and so are both volumes on Corinthians. Revelation was an interesting viewpoint, if you are a premillenialist.

When the courses tool first came out, it was mentioned that the ability to make our own was in the works. This has not materialized. What would you like from it as a Mobile Ed course which you don't have now?
MJ, Accordance has the INFER command which compares two different texts or collection of texts looking for intertextual relationships. Nothing close to it in any other software package. If intertextuality is the question, Accordance and the INFER command is the answer. Accordance also has a SINGLE SEARCH INTERFACE (well,

I, for the $99 I paid for Now this year, got the features early, got the free books, got the discounts and am now getting a $200 voucher to buy the feature set I chose not to before - so I have lost nothing by not buying outright in the first place.I will use it on the L8 feature set, since my Now is good through January. Plus, I get 6 months to peruse

We had a discussion on here where several of us researched the "Fear Not" idea. I finally traced it back, citation by citation, to "The Strong and the Weak," the oldest resource I could find with a form of the claim. Basically, it is not true by any possible interpretation.

I think you will have to do the testaments separately. For the New Testament, do a clause search for "verb-morph :V ??M" to find all of the imperatives. Then sort by verb-sense in analysis mode. This will show them in order. To go away (55) To say (36) To become (33) To take care = watch (33) To do (29) To Greet 27 To Fear (26) The easiest way to do
