That's how I did it;)
-
Thanks to some industrious programmers Logos now works on my HP Touchpad. YAhoo!!!!
-
I am waiting just like you, brother. I am working on my DMIN in biblical counseling at Southern Seminary. This journal will be helpful;)
-
Very little to get even mildly enthusiastic about in this list.
-
Steve, I have been using three programs for several years now so I'm used to it.;) I'm glad you have found what works for you! Blessings to you all!

I saved lots of money (over a 1000 bucks) by not taking advantage of those enormous Zondervan discounts to Pradis users;) LOL! I thought paying for my resources twice was an offer just too good to accept. LOL! Pradis may be a dead platform but it still works. Hey, it's faster than Logos! LOL! It opens immediately and graphics are not an issue.
-
There were discounts? I didn't see any discounts. LOL!

I just purchased Inspiron 11z to replace my netbook. It has a su4100 cpu, 4500mhd integrated graphics, 4 gig of ram, 250gig 5400rpm hd and windows 7 64. It runs Logos 4 fairly well. My Inspiron 1720 is faster of course, but it's a pain to lug around. It has a p8300 cpu (2.4 ghz), 256 meg nividia 8600m gt graphics, 3 gb ram, 500gb 7200rpm hd and windows

Count me in for Gordon Fee!

I recently finished Wright's book Justification: God's Plan and Paul's Vision. This was my first exposure to Wright and frankly it soured me. His name may be Wright but he's wrong about Romans and justification. I hope his other works are better than this one but I'm not spending the money to find out!
-
Matthew, I have not purchased anything Zondervan from Logos. I spent nearly 1000 on Pradis stuff and I'm not going to spend that much again to upgrade my books from Pradis to Logos. Pradis still works and will for a long time thanks to virtual machines. I'm done ranting about the crummy way Zondervan has treated Pradis users. It's a waste of energy
-
I have finally discovered something positive about the Pradis discounts. I can purchase the OT Backgrounds Commentary cheaper in Logos than in print. It's the only thing in the Zondervan bundle I don't own in Pradis. It's tempting. At least I would not be paying twice for something! If the EBC were the new edition I'd upgrade but I won't repurchase
-
Mark, was it worth your time? They have not responded to my emails.
-
Jeremy, LOL! Mark, you are right of course. Frankly, seeing all the prepubs roll out stirred up my irritation all over again. I'll be over it in a day or two.
-
I own almost everything and more in Zondervan's prepub. Even with the 40 percent discount it would cost over a $1000 to update my Pradis resources. There is no payment plan for prepubs and the discount can only be used once. It appears to me that Zondervan did this intentionally so that many Pradis owners would not be able to take full advantage of
-
Glad for you Terry;) If I only had the EBC I would not be nearly as frustrated but I own a $1000 dollars worth of Pradis resources which would cost me over a $1000 to update. The fact is some of I what I have is not even upgradeable.
-
Thought I would revive this thread since Zondercrook's stuff is finally shipping. I really have nothing new to say except that Zondercrooks never answered my email. Not really surprised. I'm not angry anymore but as I said before I definitely will not be buying any more Zondercrook resources. This is one customer they have lost forever,
-
I already have it in step format and Pradis, two copies are enough;) I'm not giving Zonder_______ any more money;)
-
I agree with the consensus here on the EBC. For the money, the Tyndale series is probably your best bet for one that covers the entire Bible. Personally I like the New Bible Commentary much better than the BKC for a one volume commentary.

[quote user="P. Keith Larson"]But my guess is that even if this is the way the PrePub and upgrade was set up, you would still be crying foul, because to pay the same upgrade price that moved you from one version of Yugo quality software (Pradis 5) to another version of Yugo quality software (Pradis 6), when what is being offered is an upgrade to BMW
