  • Re: Adding a note took 143 secs

Hi, Paul: When I switched from Logos 7 to Logos 8, all functions went into Molasses Mode, January-style, because everything was turned on by default to help me notice the new changes. It took about a month to decide what to turn off, so that Logos no longer tried to juggle all possible balls at once. The less it does, the faster it goes. (Tip: Make

Right-click still worked in Logos. The fix was to run a complete scan by my anti-virus, then reboot. Hoping a simple fix works for you, Jack

When speaking of Scripture, the anchor text is the WHOLE POINT, not our comments about it. [/quote] Back in the day, exported notes had the text also. Then about version four, it stopped, and from then on, the stated

The solution: [taDAA] The problem appears to be that I had shared Notebooks with both my Group and All Users. In my Faithlife documents page ( https://documents.logos.com/ ), Withdraw (eg: un-share) all documents. Publish each Notebook to All Users (no longer share with my Group) The listing in All Users shows status = Current

Yes, that's the way it always worked for me before Logos 8. Miss Philana confirmed that it no longer works as you have shown. You wouldn't happen to be running Logs in 7-mode, would you? If you are running Logos 8, then something is amiss with my setup. [sigh]
