Not only are my notes safe and available, even after a

  • Kudos: Canonical order

I just noticed that the list of Bible Books in the Filters now shows the books in canonical order instead of ordering them by the number of notes for each.Notebook. Well done, Faithlife! This is much more useful than before. May you soon get around to adding a choice for "No Notebook."

  • BUG: Crash while editing a Note

This repeatable crash happened while trying to edit a Note. The crash is strange in that setting up square brackets for Greek pronunciation in the same Note for the same purpose just before (see Crash Notes.DOCX) did not crash. Steps to see the crash: 0654.Crash Notes.docx Crash logs: 2211.Logos Log Files.zip

  • Re: Best way to add links between Logos books?
I'm trying to add my own links to a Logos book that doesn't link to another Logos book in my library. What is the best way to create a link? Say for instance I have a reference to Homer's Iliad, Book 4, verse 29. I have tried adding a "Note", with a Logos L4 link in the body of the note, but this won't let me hover over the link

  • Re: L8 Performance improved but still subpar

Every update allows Logos to do more. It already does a fantastic job of keeping the screen up to date as you scroll through the Bible, especially if Logos fills the screen of a secondary monitor that is big enough to land airplanes. It will run faster if all panels are closed but one. (But no, I'm lusting after a cheap 50-inch monitor at Walmart, to

  • Kudos: Exporting a Note shows all its anchors

When Logos 8 first appeared, exporting Notes did not show any anchor points. Such Notes were practically useless. Today's export shows all anchor references for each Note. I probably won't need to keep all of them in the exported document, but it's much easier to delete extras than to have to copy by hand from Logos. Dyslexic typos are a pain in the

  • Bug: Highlight undo

Platform: Win10, desktop I highlighted some text in a Note, then changed my mind. No problem, I thought, I'll just undo it. After hiighlighting the same text, I pressed [Shift + Ctrl + K] as usual. No joy. With the same text highlighted, I opened the Highlight tool and clicked Erase . Still no joy. Is this one of the behaviors that has not been put

The Righteous Mind explained several important concepts that kept me turning pages. For instance: Why some will turn to drugs and others will never be tempted. Jonathan Haidt is an author that I keep an eye on.

  • Re: Let me turn the dang things off ...

It's not just you, MJ. I have been agitating for a new way to collapse lists, and to turn features off that slow Logos to less than a crawl. Long ago I worked on a computer system that users complained about many easy-to-fix irritations. Programmers never got around to fixing them. Then there was a strike, and programmers had to replace users for ten

Hi, Marcia: Welcome to the forums (fora?) If you review this thread I think you will see the steps you need to take. The following steps are for a Windows desktop computer. Your mileage may vary. Open any Notebook. Make sure the current Note is closed (Click the menu for that Note, not the Notebook to see "Close Note") Press [Ctrl+P] to see the export

I would very much like to see every anchor of every Note.
I agree with Jack. If I went to the trouble to make two anchors rather than one that spanned both verses, it is because that is precisely what I mean and want to see. Two anchors implies that the note applies twice to two separate cases

Hi, Reuben: For Passage Guide, I see what you do, but for search, I see this list of which columns to show: Is it possible that you are running a beta version? Would that explain the difference? I would love for Logos to implement the control for the Passage Guide on all dialogs that show the triangle control that expands/collapses a list.
