I don't expect Anabaptist or Pietistic traditions will have a high representation, though I did see a few titles from those two traditions in the March Madness choices. ;-) —Joe

[quote user="Paul Lee"] If you have a lot of commentaries and resources in Logos, do you duplicate the same resource at Accordance? Do you buy resources based on pricing and keep different sets of commentaries/ resources in each program? Or do you stop buying from one and switch completely to the other companies? FL releases in the fall because that is when the academic conferences they like to have their new release in time for occur. The annual meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society is November 13-15 this year, to be followed by the Society of Biblical Literature annual meeting

I use and like both sets C and D of your list the most. Set E I may use as a quick check on something.

I have both products and find them useful. In an academic setting, the AYB will often be referenced across a wide spectrum of traditions. The IVP dictionaries will be well respected in a conservative, evangelical setting, but not always. Then again, choose the product that does not fit your tradition and learn how other traditions view things. Google

Thank you for the information on your Logos blog. I also am interested in showing what is available with and how to use Logos 7 Basic for the software reluctant of the church. I would like to restrict the resources I demonstrate to what is included with Logos 7 Basic. In that way someone following along the sessions I plan will not be confused by tools

Logos 7 Basic is a very nice way to allow people who are using the many free engines that provide limited (usually public domain works) library packages to experience a system that will match their current use, put also provide features and a potential library that they have not experienced. I have been using Logos since version 3 when it was available

Though some companies have left the Bible related software market, there are still many choices that offer overlapping products. It may be nice to have all of ones resources in a single software environment, but I have no problem working with multiple operating systems, multiple desktops, and multiple software products. But then, I must admit that I

I found the survey to be useful and the recommended BP made sense. Such a survey could lead to a meaningful understanding of the Logos customer base and allow for smoother business decisions. Of course, the survey would be best if the sample size and the population were the same. ;-)

Yes, the problem is present on a new Macbook less than a week old with: System Version: OS X 10.10 (14A389) The download stops when a process begins that creates a high CPU demand. I have also noticed a high CPU demand during indexing. I suspect that indexing and download don"t play well together on the Mac. I have not had this issue on the Windows
