I also appreciate the more informal delivery, and I especially enjoy a background that is not just a wall of white. These videos feel and look much more natural and comfortable to me. As 2020 rolled along and many of us changed our work style and setting, less formal just fits well. ;) —Joseph

I did contact a sales rep who stated that the volumes included in the sale was controlled by the publisher. It is interesting that only one volume of the series was excluded from the sale, though that volume has the highest ranking of any volume in the series on the Best Commentaries website. I have been watching this series for several years and am

Was Witherington's volume, Grace in Galatia: A Commentary on Paul’s Letter to the Galatians, purposely or accidentally excluded from the current Socio-Rhetorical Series Black Friday Sale? This appears to be the only volume in the series that Faithlife offers that is not included in the special pricing.

I also had this experience and reported this issue to tech support. Here is the reply: "Thank you for the latest log. I'm sorry but I didn't catch you didn't own the required license for the Counseling Guide to work. There's a case about situations like your own already, so it should eventually be fixed. For now I would avoid attempting to open the

A hair may be split many times. ;) Perhaps the problem is how the splitting is taking place. Some creative thought and analysis could be used to examine faith traditions and nomenclature currently used to develop a new taxonomy that may prove to be more useful. Biological taxonomies are often adjusted to create more useful classifications. Labels are

And by the above I mean other than christian traditions as well.

I have always thought of various faith traditions rather than denominations because that concept is used by groups that do not consider themselves denominations. In fact, these faithful christians find the concept of denomination an issue. Language is difficult, but some careful thought may find another term that does the same job in a more inclusive

The new Factbook certainly got my attention early on as I read about new features in version 9. I found a package that matched my interests and upgraded, hoping I would not be disappointed. Logos 9 has exceeded my expectations in several ways that make it so much more useful to me, and the improved Factbook is the most useful improvement for my purposes

I found the Academic Essentials package gave me the upgrade with the resources I found useful. The Verbum Academic Essentials package includes nice video training resources if you like such tools. Have fun researching! —Joseph

An interesting timeline. I have the following: LLS 2.1 LDLS 3.Og L5 L8 I guess I am good for awhile. It appears that I wait until end of support, and then upgrade. ;) Once and awhile a very interesting package will grab my attention.
I don't know if it's still a thing, but it used to be that the person who had one of the two (Catholic or Protestant) could get the other for free. I've found it helpful to have both because some Logos citations assume a certain version and having the other results in a "resource not found."
Just checked—it

Keith, check to see if your current copy has a temporary license or permanent license. That may make a difference.

Even more fun. :) Thanks John, —Joseph

Ok, it does work as expected in the NT. It is interesting that the video (featuring Logos 7) used Psalm 23 as the passage representing how to set this up. Yes, it does take a second or so to show the search results—very tolerable on my system. Thanks for your help, —Joseph

I have the same issue as Andrew. John, I checked and have a reverse interlinear for the NRSV. I tried ESV and other texts for which I have reverse interlinears with the same result. Attached is a screen shot of what I have done to set this up per the video instructions.
