Ed - this is done by creating a "Link Set". The good news is that this is very easy to do. You will enjoy the benefits of this I'm sure. Open your Bible, then open one or more commentaries. Then follow these instructions: 1 - click on the little arrow next to the icon for your Bible. 2 - in the "Link Set section, click "A". then just repeat these steps

One feature in Logos that I learned about in the last 6 months is the "Passage List". This has saved me a ton of time & its great for writing sermons, articles, teaching material, or just a quick general lookup of many verse when reading something. I absolutely love this tool! I would love to see this as a Mac Widget and/or on Biblia.com as well.

This morning I was reading my devotions and sometimes I like to share some interesting points into my Facebook status for my church & other "friends" to spur them into spending time in God's word. I was greatly surprised when I copied a quote from MacArthur's devotional into my Facebook status and it put a return and the source of my quote as well.

I posted an issue with the Notes not opening to that specific location... but there are other issues with Notes as well. 1 - Random Order Now when trying to find the location (based on chapter & verse), they are all in random order. It makes it almost impossible to find my notes or to add new ones!! It takes a lot of time... 2 - Kicks Out & Erases Text

There is an annoying little bug ... When I try to take a note, Logos doesn't take me directly to the section or passage in my notes file where I need to start typing. Also, when I click on a note marker, it opens my notes, but does not automatically go to that note. I have to scroll through and try to find it.

I just started using MindNode for Mac (free) and I really like it. Mind mapping really seems to help a non-linear thinker like myself get my study notes, sermon points, teaching concepts down, and convert it to a teachable, preachable format. I never show the Mind Map w/ the congregation, as it would probably just confuse them... but it truly seems

I have cross-graded... no NIV 2011 here either...

Tom - because its listed as a "maintenance update", does that mean it will also help it be more stable, run a bit faster, etc?

I think it would be a great idea for Logos to do a video of how the homepage works... like the background stuff of how it was designed, how it pulls from resources to add content, etc. Not really a user-end to show us how to customize it (I believe one already exists), but rather one that shows the how it actually works to fill the content. I just think

-
thanks for all your hard work Tom. enjoy your time with your family & your church family. Question - i have the Scholars library, when its fixed for L4 Mac, will i automatically get it with my package? or do i have to purchase it separately?

Yeah I think the 'fn' button was created for mini keyboards like on a MacBook, etc. Basically it is a "function' button to compensate for the smaller size without losing any functionality of the larger keyboard. Thanks for your help fgh :)
-
I found it!! Its the 'Fn' button + F5

Are you meaning the upper left? The Home Page icon next to the Library icon? That seems to reload the Home page, not refresh it. Meaning it makes the Home page disappear and reappear, but does not refresh the content itself.
-
um nope. i tried that (some what obvious) lol i'm on a MacBook, if that makes a difference.
-
I have seen on the Windows version you refresh by hitting F5. I have looked at the keyboard shortcuts on the wiki page. I can't seem to find a way or any place that says how to refresh the home page on the Mac version of Logos. Anyone know?

Yesterday I was talking to a Logos sales rep decided on a few purchases to add to my library. One that I have wanted for a long time is BDAG. I was hoping it was also available on the iPhone/iPad when purchasing it, but the website says it is not. Well I am happy to report that the website is incorrect! (see photo below). :)

I experience the Monday Preacher's Blues as well. Honestly, downright depressed sometimes on Monday mornings. Some have called it the "Jeremiah Syndrome" Basically experiencing being mentally, spiritually, & physically drained. Personally, I never take Mondays off, as I don't want to give my family my "worst day". Just my opinion. I have found something
