Although I don't have caps, I live on the end of a fairly slow connection. When Logos starts downloading it basically ties up all my bandwidth. I have to start up the app at night to let it update in order not to interfere with the use of my connection. It would be very nice if there was some way to throttle and/or schedule the band width usage. Because

BITS doesn't solve the problem if your internet router(called an Internet Gateway Device in the paper) is not configured correctly. The following all need to occur: 1) The device supports counters.(list of devices that support counters?) 2) UPnP is enabled. (often disabled for security reasons but usually on by default) 3) Server outside the subnet

I have Portfolio and I can barely fit it into 16Gb(without the Perseus collection), but it doesn't really allow you to use the device for anything else because it will frequently run out of storage. A more modest library should fit on a 16Gb device without problems. Another approach I have used is to download the resources whenever I use them. After

Mike, thank you so much. I created a PB and it works wonderfully.

I have the LEB and Faithlife Study Bible working currently on my Mac which is running version 5.1.0.0943. I tried the following: update now update resources hid LEB reloaded LEB update now update resources (note: the log showed that AUDLEB needed to be updated, but it was never installed.) Downloaded AUDLEB resource and did a scan on it. It never installed

It finally worked for me on my Mac. I did a full reboot and then an "update resources". When it completed it gave me the prompt asking for a restart due to new resources. After the restart I was able to access the new audio features.

Being able to choose a VERY large font would be very nice. My wife is sight impaired and reads her Kindle Fire at the largest font setting. Unfortunately, Logos does not have a font that is near that size. Its true, that the formatting gets real problematic, but being able to read a bad format is better than not being able to read at all. I guess, she

Thanks. It is good to know, at least, that a resolution is on the way. Kindest Regards, Eric

This is a wonderful "skill". Thank you! The Alexa page really doesn't document everything you mentioned above. A list of all the commands would be advantageous. Currently it only mentions Alexa, ask Faith Life to read Jeremiah 29 verse 11. Ask Faith Life, what should I pray for today? Ask Faith Life, what are my readings for today?

If it is true that Amazon is prohibiting this use, then they are accomplishing what they are intending by creating a walled garden for their resources and making it hard for other sellers to use their devices. Even so, there needs to be a different path for us that works using the local install of .mobi books into our devices. Having a .mobi with our

I use both my iPad mini and my Kindle Paper white. iPad Mini: great for quickly looking things up, navigating through references and doing searches. Not bad, but the eye strain is higher with this device. Kindle PaperWhite: The best experience by far if you are going to sequentially read one page to the next (like a real book). It has low eyestrain

I guess that stereotype that theology students can't do math still persists.😏

Layout: Main window on primary display with two panes open (see attached). Secondary window with floating window containing Quickstart for Logos 7. (single pane). I was following the section on "Passage Guide" in the "Quickstart for Logos 7" and noticed that by default my resources were opening on the separate window where I had the video running. No

I am running an iMac 27 10.11.6 with 16GB RAM and a fusion disk drive (part SSD, part conventional). It can be slow when updating and/or indexing but normally I can hit the "Go" button on the home page with a topic and all the windows are usually up within a second or two. Make sure that you collapse all the sections on your Topic Guide ahead of time
