One question. How is WPF running on the Mac for the Mac version of the product?

As a long time employee in the software business, I have observed this common occurance where a small company such as Faithlife suddenly does a major push into new business models and markets. At some point, there are so many products and so many types of customers that focus begins to become a bit frayed. At this point successful execution of product

I just received a call from sales. They suggested that you put in the order for both. If the dictionary comes in first you get dynamic on the collection with pre-pub price. If the collection comes in first, you, of course, don't pay for the dictionary.

Good point. Thanks MJ.

The Oxford Latin Dictionary https://www.logos.com/product/54053/oxford-latin-dictionary-second-edition is on pre-pub but also the Oxford Humanities Reference Collection https://www.logos.com/product/54052/oxford-humanities-reference-collection which contains the Oxford Latin Dictionary. I don't want to miss out on the pre-pub price but would prefer

This is a wonderful "skill". Thank you! The Alexa page really doesn't document everything you mentioned above. A list of all the commands would be advantageous. Currently it only mentions Alexa, ask Faith Life to read Jeremiah 29 verse 11. Ask Faith Life, what should I pray for today? Ask Faith Life, what are my readings for today?

Most people get excited about the latest movie release, sequel to a novel, the latest model Corvette, etc. We, however, are on the edge of our seats for an encyclopedia. Our mothers would be so proud

There were several freebies in the past that I already owned. This time I didn't. I like to think that over time it still comes out well.

I use both my iPad mini and my Kindle Paper white. iPad Mini: great for quickly looking things up, navigating through references and doing searches. Not bad, but the eye strain is higher with this device. Kindle PaperWhite: The best experience by far if you are going to sequentially read one page to the next (like a real book). It has low eyestrain

Send to kindle provides three advantages: 1) E-ink is easier on the eyes for most people 2) E-ink is usually lighter in weight and makes for an easier cover-to-cover reading. 3) E-ink has a battery life measured in multiple days. 4) The current Kindle screen apps have much larger fonts which make it useable for those with vision problems. Intellectual property licensing is a very complex space wrought with landmines. There may have been a little wiggle room on the cutoff date but I believe FL is doing the best that they can do with both the technological and legal constraints they have been presented with. It can be argued that they created this feature on unstable techno/legal platform

I guess that stereotype that theology students can't do math still persists.😏

If it is true that Amazon is prohibiting this use, then they are accomplishing what they are intending by creating a walled garden for their resources and making it hard for other sellers to use their devices. Even so, there needs to be a different path for us that works using the local install of .mobi books into our devices. Having a .mobi with our

This can also happen if you have the notes off for your resource. Press the "Aa" button and scroll down to the "Notes" setting. Make sure that all your notes documents that you are using are turned on.

Mac 6.8.0.0049 (dual display). I was following "Learn to Use Biblical Greek with Logos 6" and did the lemma search for Logos in John 1.1 on the LEB and then pressed "Graph Results". I tried undocking, stretching and moving back and forth between displays with no success. Notice that the graph type menu bar blocks the X-axis and some of the data. Also

Please forgive me if you have already tried this. Make sure that you expand the "Corresponding Notes and Highlights" item under the visual filters menu (3 circles). You can selectively choose which documents you want to appear in your view.

I find that if I want a distraction-free encounter with God's word, the paper Bible is preferred. Logos is so good at linking in interesting cross-references that I often get distracted down one of those rabbit trails. I know I can put it in reader mode and turn off much of that, but it takes too much discipline that the paper Bible enforces on me.

It is streaming fine tonight.

"CS201 Western Civilization: Greeks to Aquinas" by Bryan M. Litfin. Short video on the Logos Now interactive "New Testament Use of the Old Testament" After these two, I didn't try anything else. There was a long > 1minute pause after every 10-15 seconds of video.

I have a 3Mb connection that serves up Hulu, Acorn, Amazon and Netflix without too much difficulty. FL TV is totally useless on a Roku 3 due to the lack of compression supported by the service. I am, however, able to receive the videos in the Logos software without pauses -- barely. Eric
