  • Re: Logos on top of other windows

Fredc - Yes, that is correct. If I open another program, it opens - but behind Logos. If I alt+tab between programs (trying to switch programs that way), Logos still stays on top. If I run two monitors and try to drag something from monitor 1 (without Logos) to monitor 2 (which does have Logos displayed), it will drag behind the Logos program.

  • Logos on top of other windows

I noticed that Logos is staying on top of all my other application windows (including Logos popup windows like New Sentence Diagram and Print/Export). I could not find a setting to remove this "stay on top" feature. Is there a place that I'm not looking? Thanks for your help! Brian

  • Re: collection rule

The goal was a way to isolate those books which I purchased most recently (since I can't sort by purchase date, "last updated" was the best field I could think to use). Since my tagging and collection rules are always a work in progress, I was looking for a way to make sure I'm not missing some insight because a book has fallen through the cracks of

  • Re: collection rule

I did find a bit of a workaround. I grabbed all the resources updated in 2015 (organizing the library tab by Last Updated) and then put a tag on those resources, Updated2015. Then I did a collection that starts with "mytag:Updated2015". At this point, it's just a matter of weeding out types that I don't want (Bibles, Journals, etc). Thinking this will

  • [resolved] collection rule

Is there a way to make a collection based on when a book was last updated? Like "collection = all my books that were updated in last six months" (so I don't miss some of the newer ones in my library ). Thanks! Brian

  • [resolved] BUG: Custom guide reverting to old setup

Good morning, A few years ago I did a custom passage guide for Psalm 139:1-18. Since then, I have changed the layout of this guide (no longer breaking down my commentaries, etc) and the new guide works great. However, when I enter Psalm 139:1-18, it defaults to the old guide format from years ago. I try X-ing out the "See also CPG April 2010", but this

  • Suggestion - Focused Tab Tweak

Just a thought that I think would make L6 a little more user friendly. Right now, the "focused tab" (I forget the tech term, but the tab you are working on currently) is notated by a dark blue bar across the top of the tab and the menu icon. This keeps it blending in well, but on a full layout, it can be easy to miss. I'd suggest perhaps coloring the

  • Re: difficulty finding something in Runge's work

Donnie, This absolutely helps out a ton. Thank you (and thanks for laying out very simply the nature of "class arguments" - my Greek professor was a bit absent-minded - so this helps). I found your reference in Carson's book, and between that and a few Wuest materials, I feel much more in control of this idea. It's not a point it my sermon (more like

  • difficulty finding something in Runge's work

I am working on Philippians 2:1-11 and read Runge's HD Philippians commentary, where he says, "I was teaching through Philippians when a woman asked, “Which if is this in 2:1—the one that means ‘if’ or the one that means ‘since’?” In other words, if all of these if statements are true, why not use “since” instead? After thinking about it for a moment

  • Is this official term

Hey everybody, When we talk about the Bible Sense Lexicon, is "sense" the official linguistic term for what it's trying to point out (like tense, voice, mood, etc)? Asking mainly out of geeky curiosity. :) Thanks! Brian

Hey Mick, thanks for the tip. That will do the trick - I'm glad they know about the issue.

  • Can't view entire left pane in Psalms Explorer

See screenshot. I can tell there are more themes, but I am not able to scroll down any further. The Proverbs explorer at least gives me a MORE>> option.

My deepest apologies - Rosie is right in all senses. Since I didn't create it off my own notes, I completely forgot that it was a personal book. Thanks for the clarification!

  • Report Typo option missing in "Exposition on the Entire Bible"

When I right-click a word in all my other resources, I get the Report Typo option. In this one, I do not (and I have found typos). Something up with that? Thanks! Brian

David, Alt +D takes me to the command bar. Perhaps I should expand on what I'm trying to do. I'd like to enter "Add Clipping To..." (if such a command exists) so that I can create a shortcut to that command. Otherwise, the only way I can find to add anything to a clippings document is to have that document open and click "add clipping" from there. That

  • Command Bar shortcut

Hey everybody, Is there a way, from the command bar, to say "Add Clipping to XYZ clippings file"? I'm considering rearranging my sermon prep layout, but I do need access to this option (I currently keep the clippings file in a tiny corner of my layout). Thanks! Brian

  • Visual Copy options?

Is there a way to edit the font size in Visual Copy? If not, this might be a nice feature to add - as I'm trying to put some of the slides into my sermon this week, but am concerned that the size will be too small (I normally use 48pt in my powerpoints).

I remember seeing (though I can't remember where) that you need the Gold base package or better for this option to work at all. Is that true, as I'm getting the same 0 results.
