  • "Add note to..." only shows one or two of my Notes files

I maintain 3-4 different Notes files for various purposes (one for exegesis, one for sermons, etc). If I want to add a note to a verse, for instance, it will only give me the option to add a note to one note file (often times, it's not the note file I want to use at the moment). If I open up the correct note file and right-click the verse, it will give

Mark, I see exactly what you are talking about in how Commentaries and Collections are done differently. I think I found a way to make this work (I'm responding with this just in case the info can help somebody else) since I have a bunch of things tagged as Scholarly Commentary, while some are type Commentary and some are not. I'm making a new collection

MJ, I made the test collection under the Collections tool, as you mentioned, and it did give me some of the additional books that I was looking for. Hey Mark, Are you suggesting using quotation marks as I'm tagging the book? When I edit the guide template, I insert either the "commentary" or "collections" section (I've used both), and both ask me to narrow down what collection I'm asking for. At this point, I scroll down to (mytag:Scholarly Commentary) - I can't edit any of this text in this section

  • mytag: section not displaying all tagged resources

Hello, I created a custom passage guide in Logos 4 (latest updated version). One of my "sections" in the guide is grouped as "mytag:Scholarly Commentary". I have a few books with that exact tag that aren't showing up when I run the guide - some of which have entire chapters devoted to the passage I'm researching - labeled with the exact same pericope

  • Manually add clipping?

I use the Clippings feature a lot as I'm gathering research for my sermon. Sometimes I come up with an idea (illustration, etc) that I want to put into my clippings file, but I don't know how to manually create a new clipping (the Add Clipping button is greyed out unless I have text in a resource selected). Is there a way to do this easily? My only
