Thanks, MJ; I wondered if it'd be you! As I mentioned, you can't drag and drop from the folder. Push the button and the Bible opens. There should be a way to do this. It should open from the last-used pane, or something. Everything can't be a layout.
-
Briefly: I have my Bibles in the new folder option (cleverly labeled "Bibles"). Which I click on the ESV, it opens in the right pane. I drag it to the left, close it...still opens in right pane. I've searched and searched, and I can't find it: how do I pick the pane in which a resource opens? (Can't just drag from folder onto desktop, either.) Win 10

I reported this in Logos 8, and am chagrined to see it persists in 9. Simply put: use Copy Bible Verses tool to copy a Hebrew verse; paste it into BibleWorks, and the first word is always a different font and always needs to be reformatted. The first unit is Calibri, the rest isn't. This began with an update long ago, I reported it at the time and repeatedly;
-
Amen! Also, since this bad change, when I use the Logos tool to copy Hebrew text and paste it into BibleWorks, the first word is always a different font from the rest of the quotation. So I always — ALWAYS — have to re-format just the first word . As so:
-
Also, I see the previous reported issues are still not addressed. https://bit.ly/3d64Plr http://bit.ly/2KhRkDd Here's a text copied, and then pasted into BibleWorks notes. See how the first word is still in a different font, and the citation is still not Times New Roman:

STILL not fixed. Here's a text copied, and then pasted into BibleWorks notes. See how the first word is still in a different font, and the citation is still not Times New Roman:
-
Background: some commentaries (oddly, aggravatingly) are published separately from the commentaries' translations. Such as: Allen P. Ross' Psalms (2 volumes of commentary, 2 volumes of text [translation]) Eugene Merrill 1&2 Chronicles (1 volume commentary, 1 volume text [tr]) J. J. S. Perowne Psalms (2 volumes commentary, 1 volume text [tr]) J.

Oops, turns out even that Hebrew copying problem has not been remedied. I was prematurely optimistic.
-
I don't see a solution in 8.12 either -- though the Hebrew problem I reported above seems to be gone.
-
Disappointing. Checked for that immediately; but, nope.
-
Then we differ. Something works well, then a change is instituted makes it not work, makes work harder to do, remediation is a reasonable expectation.
-
Hear, hear.
-
Does not resolve the copying bugs noted below http://bit.ly/2KhRkDd http://bit.ly/38O0FgD
-
They just released an update, and this bug is not fixed by it.
-
Here's another instance of the bug. Sure hope Logos is working on this new bug. Used the Bible verses tool to find and copy some verses from AFAT, and paste into BibleWorks. Here's what I got:
-
Be nice to get a "Yep, we recognize this all as a real problem, and it will be rectified in the next update," wouldn't it?
-
...and I'll raise that the text tool has also gone nuts. Note the two fonts when I use it to find text and copy to BibleWorks, and Word:
-
Also interested in the answer. Hopefully, Logos will either (1) return it to the previous function, or (2) provide that as an option. It's a step back to have to reformat every copied text now,not an improvement.
-
Hi Philana, thanks for responding. In MS Word 2010, Normal is 12 pt regular Times New Roman. In BibleWorks, it is 10 pt. Times New Roman. Before this update, Logos switched to each app's target font.
-
Thanks, Adam. I'll attach my Word 2010 setting. If I drag and drop or Ctrl + V, I still get Calibri. I really think this either needs to be reversed, or we need an option to reverse it. My major use is in BibleWorks, and I have to re-format each Logos pasting. This is new and unwelcome behavior.
