  • Re: Background audio fade

Hi Fred, I don't think there is a solution within Proclaim for fading videos (image or sound), especially when you specify a video to end at a particular point. It just ends at that point. The only solution I know of would require trimming the video and would take more time/work. I usually just use iMovie or something similar where you can detach the

  • Please Show the "Highest Level" of "Advanced Package Library" installed.

I originally posted this in Logos 7 but am copying it here for a Logos Suggestion..... Is there really no way of knowing what version I have installed, other than looking for a library source that is in a version to see if I can access it? I should have Logos 7 Gold installed. I hoped it would show up under Logos/About, but all it shows is the following

  • Re: What Version do I Have?

It seems FL did make the decision to show the "highest level" of Software , Features , and Base Package Library . So it seems logical to follow suite and show the "highest level" of "Advanced Package Library" (Logos 7 Gold, Logos 8 Silver, etc.). I can understand the complications for those who own many packages, but I think the decision to show NONE

Jordan Sjodin commented: I’m glad you are liking the changes! Looks like you are making use of custom quick screens too! Have you used multiselect much? What about the drag and drop? Thanks, Jordan Sjodin =============================================================== Hi Jordon, we do like the Custom Quick Screens, although there's a few quirks

  • Text Box Alignment Problem on Song Slides

I love the latest revisions in Proclaim. Thanks for all the great work! One of my long requests was a way to add scripture/text into songs that would be a different font than the song lyrics. The revisions of the "text box" to add unique text on any slide in a song is awesome! Thanks. Issue: I've been adding scripture verses that fit the theme of songs

  • Re: Start Music on Second Slide button.

Hi Mike, The file I made was just a 15sec. mp3 of silence. If you downloaded it and then clicked to play it, it may have opened in iTunes or your media player and played the 15 seconds of silence and then played the next song in your player, explaining why you actually heard something. If you need more than the 15 seconds you could make a longer silent

  • Re: Delete an Audio Recording/Song in a Play List on Mac

Thanks Tommy & Herb, I never knew that little hidden X existed! Also, I've noticed recently that the X is no longer hidden! That's a good move too and will avoid others asking the same question. I LOVE PROCLAIM!

  • Delete an Audio Recording/Song in a Play List on Mac

I recently read in the online tutorials about "adding music to an item" which discussed adding audio playlists. The info stated that you can add and delete songs to a play list. However, for several years I have used playlists for the pre-service and I cannot delete a song from a playlist on my Mac. Instead, I must select the "clear" button and rebuild

  • Re: Start Music on Second Slide button.

Hey Guys, Here's one possible solution for for what you are wanting to do: Create a blank recording such as "Blank15sec.m4a". I was able to do this quickly with Quicktime going to File/New Audio Recording... hit the record but and record silence, then go to File/Save and Save your file. (I'll attache mine here, but not sure if you can download it).

Thanks for the quick responses guys. This may be on-topic with this, or perhaps not. I just replied to a post in the faithlife community; The post from Proclaim had a link to "adding music to a slide/item" which discussed adding audio playlists. The info stated that you and add and delete songs to a play list, however for several years I have used playlists

  • A little bug when using a Custom Advance Time on a Slide

A little random bug to be fixed is when entering a custom time for a slide to Advance it doesn't update the "blue" number after you hit enter as the preset times 5, 10, 15, etc. do. It does change the actual time for the slide to advance, and if you go away from the slide and come back to it then the blue number is updated, Just that the users may initially

I forgot to mention, when the item is invisible in the left column, the empty space is not selectable, so you cannot select it to be displayed from the left column.

  • Invisible Items in Proclaim Ver. 2.0.000018

Loving some of the new features in the latest update. Here's a problem however I'm having in preparation for sunday. I'm working from home on a MacBook Pro, so these issues are in Edit & Preview, I'm not sure how it will be with the external screen in On Air mode. Some items in the left column randomly disappear, then sometimes reappear in a wrong

Dennis, Not sure if you're on a mac or not. I have regular issues on my MacBook pro deleting with the delete key. Sometimes it seems to work if I hit the function key + Delete. Another option is to right-click the item and select delete from the pop up window. Maybe that's helpful. Dave Hill

  • Re: Incorporating Bible Verses Into Sermon for Proclaim

I've similarly suggested the ability to add a scripture content slide within a song Michael. I think your method would be a nice solution for adding scripture to both single sermon outline slides as well as within songs (which are also single slides). Overall, a system like this will make managing a group's content much easier!! And Logical. YES! This would be an awesome improvement for content management. However, I don't think the "Manage My Content" belongs at the Edit, Preview, On Air level. It would be fine to go to Background, Browse Content, Group Uploads and have the management options within
