• Re: Macbook for Logos

My wife uses a MacBook Air with good results. I did see someone running it on a newer MacBook Pro recently and I could tell the difference between the two with the MacBook Pro having very quick layout/document opening speed. The MacBook Air doesn't run Logo slow, in my opinion, but when compared to the Pro, the difference definitely noticeable. Make

Mark, This is a very nice spreadsheet. For some reason the link to the De trinitate doesn't work but others do. I had once thought of making such a file but have yet to do it because of the amount of time involved. I do this kind of search for documents often in my working with Logos, whether it is for classic works, the Church Fathers and beyond, Creeds

  • Search Table of Contents

Is there a way to search the tables of contents of the resources in my library? I'm looking for an easy way to find a document or treatise that is contained within a volume. For instance, say I'm looking for a treatise by Augustine. How do I find which of my resources have that. I may have multiple resources that contain for instance, the De trinitate

  • Re: 8.7 (8.7.0.0039) is now available

I'm having trouble with the speed of the context menu right-click. I like the updates but I'm wondering if there is anything I can do with the speed. In general, I had no issues with speed in prior versions. When I first load a Bible and right click on a word, it can take up to 5 seconds for the menus to fully populate. Subsequent right clicks are noticeably

Union College was the first Adventist institution to require Logos. We began back in 2014 before Martin started with Logos. Southern and Oakwood I hear are close to adopting Logos and Southwestern may soon take that step as well. I think as more Adventists get involved using the platform, we will get more resources. I believe the more activity we have

What is a persistent collection? I use the tools/library/collections feature a lot to organize my library. Is that what is gone?
It would be great, grand, and desirable if Faithlife/Logos actually cared about Logos on a Windows Tablet.
I don't know any of the history on this but I would like to see features added to the UI to make Logos work better with touch tablets.

  • Surface Pro 3 possible bug - Tablet Mode

I'm running Logos 6 on a Surface Pro 3 and Windows 10. If I open Logos in Tablet Mode, Logos opens in a reduced window setting showing one or two tabs of any books I have open with a small section of the current tab visible. The only way I have figured to get out of it is to attach my keyboard, double click on the icon in the taskbar to minimize the
