Hey Nate,
There is absolutely no reason why the Android app which currently can be used to follow or control the presentation couldn't also edit slides in the presentation. Editing the words on a slide should be easy to do from the Android app.
We have similar plans to allow mobile

It's been about 9 months since our last interaction. Has any progress on a web app or simple web editing of Proclaim presentations been made?

Hmmm I'll just leave this hear since some people seem to think that a web app can't handle this sort of thing... https://bigscreen.show/

Just thought I'd check in on the progress on Proclaim for the Web. It would be so nice to be able to quickly add a slide or edit a slide from any internet connected device by simply logging into a web page.

  • Re: Can I edit the default Connection Card in Bulletins?

It would be great if it was editable. Also, there should be a single place to go and find all the entries rather than going to each bulletin. Entries should also send an email notification to a designated email address(es). Ultimately, I think Faithlife should incorporate this into a larger form system that intelligently connects to their other software

I don't think they ever made it editable. It would be nice though. Or .... if they would just let us mark a setting so that it doesn't show up at the bottom, that would allow us to just include a link to an online form we can control.
Videos do work on the sign feed, but the support is sub par. You can refresh your page once you make a change to your feed. A change could be as simple as checking and unchecking the "Show some Bible Art"
Videos that are added to the Sign Feed schedule in Proclaim and sync to the cloud work in the sign feed

I just thought I'd bring this discussion back up again. Now with Chromebooks like the Pixelbook and other powerful machines that can run Android app as well as the potential for running Linux apps in addition to web apps, the argument that Chromebooks aren't powerful or capable enough no longer holds water. My suggestion that would work well for Chromebooks

I've used Team Viewer to remotely access another computer running Proclaim. Team Viewer has a Chrome App you have to install on the Chromebook to get things working. It is a bit slow and clunky, but it works. The problem is that your other machine has to be turned on and connected to the internet. I've even edited Photoshop files this way. However,

I'm sorry to have to disagree, but this argument that web apps can't handle all that Proclaim or Logos does isn't much of an argument. If we're talking about Proclaim's advanced features for live video and moving backgrounds, then you may have a point. If we are talking about raw power in accessing and displaying information, the argument is that a

  • Can I edit the default Connection Card in Bulletins?

I'd like to be able to edit the questions in the default connection card in the Bulletins feature. We strategically use check boxes for 1st Time Guest, 2nd Time Guest, and 3rd Time Guest on our connection cards as part of our assimilation process. Each guest has a different follow up process that we initiate based on how many times they say they have

It would be great for administrators to just be able to link to any ical feed whether from Google Calendar or any other event system that publishes an ical feed such Planning Center Resources.

Thanks, Bob! I really see Chromebooks taking off from here. Whether the development team behind Proclaim decides to build a web app or a native Android app optimized for ChromeOS, I'd love to be able to access and edit Proclaim on my Chromebooks. There are a ton of general use presentation apps online that are great, so it's not like developing a web

It's been nearly 4 years since the previous post. ChromeOS has grown leaps and bounds, and now supports Android apps. Chromebooks outsell Macs and are used by the same students that probably help many churches with their weekly presentations. The devices themselves are more capable than ever. It looks like the hardware is only going to get more powerful

I know this is something my church and other churches I'm familiar with want to do. From what I've gathered the setup requires video switching hardware from something like Blackmagic. I haven't ever set this up, but from what I'm told, a lyrics projection software can be displayed as a lower third on top of another live video feed through the Blackmagic

It is happening on all videos whether they are from Proclaim or videos that we upload. That said I do have one video (wmv) that I uploaded with a clip from Charlie Brown. For some reason if I reset Proclaim and first make sure to try to play that video before anything else, everything seems to play fine. I know that sounds strange, but that has been

  • Proclaim crashes when trying to play video

My church has been using Proclaim for a few months now. When I first started training my presentation team, we noticed that we could easily crash Proclaim by trying to play a video. The strange thing was that it didn't happen every time. For instance, we add a count down video in the warm up section for Sunday mornings. Some Sundays the video starts

  • Re: [BUG] Video Freeze

I've been having the same issue. Try to play a video whether on air or not and the video doesn't play. Then I can go to another slide, but soon the whole app crashes. I have to shut down the process to get Proclaim to restart. I am trying to play the included Proclaim videos and it still does this.

  • Proclaim freezes during video playback when user navigates away from proclaim

If a user clicks onto any other software or window (we are using Windows 7) while a video is playing during a live presentation, the software interface freezes (the video continues to play until it completes). If the sotware inferface is minimized it will not maximize again. The only solution is to shut down the proclaim.exe process and relaunch Proclaim

  • Live Video Feed in Proclaim

Is it possible to add a live video feed as a background? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this? Our church is in the planning stages to start recording our services and streaming the live over the internet. We also want to send video feeds to several TVs throughout the church building. Is proclaim the wrong software for this type
