Brothers, I picked up a 15 inch MacBook Pro yesterday and loaded Logos4 on it last night. So far, so good! Indexing has been at a crawl, but the Mac, and Logos4 are running VERY snappy and fast and that is with indexing in the background. This is my first Mac

[quote user="MJD"] If you search the forum there are many people constantly complaining the L4 on Mac is VERY SLOW! I personally have 5 Mac machines that are set up for "speed", no money was spared. There is "no way" the Mac Platform runs L4 anywhere close to as fast as the PC with L4! I know this because I have 3 PC machines too. If you are inpatient

  • Re: OpenGL

HP could not fix the graphics card problem and is refunding me for the machine. This is the third machine since January that I have had to send back to HP. So, I am back to hunting for a new computer and new manufacture that will run Logos4.

  • Re: OpenGL

Eric, Yep, this is the problem. Unfortunately I have one of the HP machines and it appears that the dedicated graphics card is not kicking in. Everything says it is there, but it does not seem to start. Two questions: 1. How can I know for sure that it is not starting? 2. What does this mean for Logos4?

How can I know if the my dedicated GPU is coming on? Are there any GPU monitors that will show what card intel or amd is being used? HP is having some problems with opengl.
