• Is Tomorrow Still "Crash The Servers" Day?

Just wondering if the 3rd is still the day when Logos will keep to the promise of "never having to pay for an upgrade"?

  • What a Great Feature

So the other day I was sorting my Logos library into sub folders by genre, and then further by theological distinctive, and I thought "If I do the same with my notes it's going to be very efficient..." Then I woke up

  • Looking for a good resource to teach from

I'm looking for a resource to teach from, one about sanctification and the lifetime struggle with the "old man". Something practical, and applicable to day-to-day life. Preferably from a Reformed perspective. Any Suggestions?
Do you think having Logos on an SD would benefit my situation? (Since I am able to get all the apps I need on the main drive)
Bill's correct, the internal hard drive is almost always faster if you have the room for your library on it. That being said, if you have very little free space left on the internal SSD after installing

A few items worth mentioning that I've discovered through experimentation, all help to improve speed: Format SD card to NTFS, Try and get a card at with at least twice as much space as the size of your Logos library. The indexer really likes the extra elbow room. Buy the highest quality class 10 card you can afford. I noticed quite a difference between

Interesting thought on both. I am old enough to remember smoking in a book shop. Overstuffed chairs, and standing ashtrays every two feet ( the kind that had pipe and cigar holders on them ). Ah nostalgia...

Just thinking about MJ's idea, Logos could add an artificial pagination function to all Bibles. One that would show program determined page numbers both on the screen, and in citations as needed. That would be a cool feature.
If I were reading from a print version, I could document the number of pages.
If you happen to have a print version ( owned or borrowed ) you could always just reference it to add the page numbers to the citation.

  • Re: Page numbers for Bibles please!

There is the old joke that Preachers and teachers use when reading from a seldom referenced book of the Bible: " Please turn to Zephaniah 1:7 ( pregnant pause while the congregation is thumbing through their Bibles trying to figure out where Zephaniah is ), it's on page 873 of my Bible if that will help... • Re: Page numbers for Bibles please!

It seems to me, and others can correct me if I'm mistaken, but if a Logos resource does include physical page numbers in the text / citation, that they are derived form the commonly cited version of said printed text. Or the edition that is commonly used in academia.

I can't help but think that this may be difficult. Given the approximately 432,693 different print editions of each individual version, it's going to be arbitrary at best.
