This would be a huge time saver! I'd give two extra stars :)

Good Afternoon Kyle, I double checked the Message (MSG) this morning and all is well. Don't know whether I just missed it, or whether it was an update that came in after I checked it against the CEB behavior. I do look forward to an update on the CEB resource however

Graham, the "Simple Paragraph" format in CBV is actually what I prefer for my text -- it's nice to know that option is there when I export -- it's just too bad that my preferred CEB translation doesn't offer that feature at this time. Thanks -- Dale

Thanks Mark -- the CEB and MSG neither one have the option for Chapter and Verse -- the ESV and others do. So, I'll just have to wait and see if the updated resource solves the problem.

Todd, I am indeed using the CEB as my preferred bible. I noticed when I moved over to the ESV that I had an option for Chapter and Verse numbers but that option was not available in the CEB, nor is it available in the MSG. As long as I know it's just a matter of time before the resource gets updated (didn't expect all of them to be updated at the same

  • Re: Yosemite

Steven, I'm running Yosemite on an iMac that I bought a couple of years back, but I bought it with an i7 processor and am running the max memory on board. I was a little disappointed in the refresh rate on the maps with Logos 6, and getting it up and running (including indexing) took about twice to three times as long as on my PC, but that was to be

That's wonderful news -- considering our Anglican Roots, but Wesley's passion for Orthodox Spirituality, I've had to do some ala carte shopping to get what I wanted. I'll be thrilled to see what is offered. Dale

  • [resolved]Scripture Text Display

It took me awhile to figure out how to get my Bible verse numbers back, but I've got them and that's fine. But, I really only want the Bible text (including verse numbers) and none of the headings. I've clicked Bible text only, and that gets rid of the extraneous "stuff" but I loose my verse numbers. If I uncheck that box, I get my verses but I also

Hi Thomas, I'll do that this evening -- My iMac at the office is (so far) running without a hitch, it's just my Windows installation that's troublesome. And, I will set a restore point before I do anything. I'll post back after I do all that in a few hours Blessings Dale

Luigi, I'm assuming all the sync'ing is related to the fact that when I open my desktop/layout, it's opening some 40 plus resources (bibles, commentaries, lexicons, dictionaries, etc). That's probably what that's all about -- but I'm only guessing Dale

Alas, typing "update now," or typing "update resources," even typing " set update channel to default" doesn't get me any closer to having SR-3 reinstalled. Dale

If anyone has a clue what's going on -- I'm attaching a new set of logs from this morning Yesterday, after starting with logging turned on, all seemed to go well, all day. Speed and responsiveness was restored, I wasn't losing windows, and I could even name a layout. This morning, I started Logos 5, I was back to sluggish behavior, Logos 5 started,

Well, when I had it built, SSD's were way to expensive -- now that the price has dropped, I am considering making some alterations in the configuration. But,thanks for asking, and for giving me the name of a product that will allow a migration to a different drive -- Dale

Good Afternoon Alabama (et al) Earlier this morning, I thought I'd see if I could just roll back my System Restore and be ok. That didn't work -- it went back to before I installed Logos 5, but Logos 4 wouldn't start, So I closed everything out and ran my Logos 5 install script from the other day which put me back to running 5.0 SR-2 (5.0.0.1803) but

  • Something's Broken in Logos 5.0 SR-3 (5.0.0.1820)

When Logos announced the release of version 5, it seemed like the right thing to do. I upgraded on my PC, went to the office and the upgrade was nearly instantaneous on my iMac. Today, my iMac said there was an update, so I updated again, and all seemed well. I came home tonight to be with the family, and I wanted to finish up somethings on my PC. Logos

  • Better touch-pad guesture support (Mac)

Some of the gestures for the touch pad work (scroll, click) but there could be better integration. For example - it would be nice to be able to zoom (increase and decrease font size) with the zoom gestures (spread / pinch). The touch pad would quickly become the interface of choice for Logos with just a few modifications.

  • Nicer Library View

I like to be able to look at a bookshelf and be reminded of content by the visual cues of book covers. Why not make a view for the library that shows only covers, arranged side by side and shelf by shelf according to subject. ie. show all bible covers together side by side on a "shelf" (in a row), next row: commentaries, etc: There's just something

  • Re: L4 requirements

This turns out to be my biggest disappointment with L4. I always had more than enough resources to handle L3. No other modern piece of software that I use demands so much of my hardware. Because of this I am forced to still use L3 for the majority of my work as L4 bogs down regularly and even freezes up if I move too quickly. Pay attention to these
